The Eurovision 2025 season is now in full swing and no doubt fans will have the songs from this year’s contest on repeat until we crown a winner in May. But that doesn’t mean we forget about the artists from past contests – they’re still bringing us a lot of new music to enjoy.
Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.
Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.
New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 10
Styleto feat. Louane – “Ok très bien”
This week kicks off with Louane, chosen by France to represent them at Eurovision this year. While we await her official entry, we can enjoy her collaboration with fellow French artist Styleto. The duo delivers a powerful track titled “Ok, Very Well” — a bold breakup anthem from Styleto’s new album, perfect for mending broken hearts and moving on.
Jerry Heil, MONATIK & Evgeny Khmara – “ВИМОЛИВ”
This week highlights numerous Ukrainian artists, starting with an interesting collaboration between Jerry Heil — who represented Ukraine last year alongside alyona alyona — and MONATIK. This marks their first duet, a heartfelt love song titled “Begged.” The track speaks about longing for the right person to enter your life, echoing the poignant lyrics: “I begged you, my dear / From God’s garden.”
The lyrics are inspired by the poem “Rattle” by Ukrainian author Yuriy Izdryk, reflecting the feeling of waiting endlessly for love — praying for the right person, and just when hope seems lost, they appear and transform everything. The song’s emotional depth is further amplified by pianist Evgeny Khmara, whose instrumental adds a memorable touch.
The song also serves as the soundtrack for the romantic comedy Blind Vacation, produced by United Content Hub, set to premiere in Ukraine on 13 March. Additionally, the track will feature on Jerry Heil’s upcoming album, ARCHETYPES.
SAGES – “In The Sound Of Breathing” & “Opening”
SAGES is a new duo made up of Ólafur Arnalds and Loreen, the double Eurovision winner with victories in both 2012 and 2023. The video they released is a real short movie, being 10 minutes long and very cinematic. The two songs featured in it have a bring a very unique and original style to your playlist. The result? Euphoric, minimalist electronic tracks with a pop twist.
The music video is inspired by a historical event — the Dancing Plague of 1518 — an epidemic where people were… dancing themselves to death. SAGES is a project that’s been in the works for over two years, and there’s more music on the way.
Anxhela Peristeri – “Mendova se…”
The next song takes us straight to the heart of Albania. Anxhela, who represented her country in 2021, is back with her newest track — a retro ballad deeply rooted in traditional Albanian sounds. Beyond the song’s authenticity, Anxhela’s voice makes it even more special. The song, titled “I Thought That…”, explores the themes of expectations and disappointments in love.
You can watch the music video here.
Manizha – Ocha
Manizha, who competed at Eurovision in 2021, just dropped a new EP this week — and it’s definitely one to check out. This release marks a new chapter in her career, one she hopes to fill with joy and love. The EP serves as a reminder that life can be beautiful.
The album cover features a photo of Manizha pregnant — a powerful celebration of life and hope for the future. The EP includes six songs, all created in collaboration with Liz Horsman, and each one pays tribute to Manizha’s Tajikistan roots.
Artem Pivovarov & The Byca feat. Kalush Orchestra – “Підманула”
Kalush Orchestra, the Eurovision 2022 winners, team up with Artem Pivovarov and The Byca for a new project — and this time, it’s all about fun! The release is a hilarious and light-hearted way to promote Ukrainian culture, blending tradition with entertainment.
Artem’s goal with this project is to make Ukrainian culture more popular and accessible for everyone. The song has a funky pop vibe, with lyrics inspired by a traditional Ukrainian folk song.
The music video is just as dynamic and colourful, packed with puzzles, clues, and unexpected wedding plot twists — because, well, sometimes the bride might just run off with the singer!
Olena Topolia & EDGAR TI – “Чуєш”
Olena, who represented Ukraine in 2010 under the stage name Alyosha, is back with a powerful love ballad this week, teaming up with EDGAR TI. Their new song, “You Listen,”‘ is a heartfelt composition filled with raw emotion and sincerity, accompanied by a music video featuring both artists.
The lyrics explore how love can overcome any obstacle and how those who truly love us accept us just as we are. The song serves as a reminder that love, though often a journey of learning and struggle, remains one of the most vital parts of life — inspiring us to create, move forward, and giving us the strength to keep going.
Alfred García – “T’estiu”
Alfred is ready to confess his love and set the mood for summer with his new song. He represented Spain at Eurovision 2018 alongside Amaia.
His latest track is a serene acoustic ballad, where his voice blends effortlessly into the soft, heartfelt composition. The song celebrates love and the longing to be with that special someone, all while bringing a warm, summery vibe.
Barbara Pravi – “l’exil et l’asile”
A special song comes from Barbara Pravi, who represented France in 2021. Her new track, “Exile and Asylum,” was released on 8 March, marking International Women’s Day. Barbara has a tradition of releasing charity songs for Women’s Day, and this year is no exception. This powerful piece stands as a bold statement against domestic violence. The song features the voices of women from the Arles collective — a safe space for those affected by domestic violence.
While working with the women from the Arles collective, Barbara shared how deeply moved she was by their stories and how inspired she felt by their strength. The lyrics are a true anthem, celebrating the resilience of women and the strength they find when they stand together: “We are a mixture of places / We are a mixture of languages / We are a wound / We are a departure / We are rebuilding / We are territory.”
Prāta Vētra – “Pirmajā Dienā”
Prāta Vētra, known internationally as Brainstorm, represented Latvia at Eurovision in 2000. This week, they dropped a new funky track — and it’s a funny one!
Titled “The First Day,” the song tells the story of a man visiting the house of the woman he loves. But on the first day — and every day after — the door is closed. He keeps coming back, day after day, only to find the door still shut. Then, on the seventh day, a miracle happens: “The seventh day / The door was open / I went in / And there you were,” leading him to never leave her place again.
The playful track comes with an equally funny music video, following a man who would literally travel to another planet for the one he loves.
TVORCHI – “Мила моя”
TVORCHI, the Ukrainian duo who competed in Eurovision 2023, have released a special song dedicated to women. To mark International Women’s Day, they dropped “My Dear” — a retro funk-pop track that celebrates women with heartfelt lyrics: “I carry kisses in my mouth, / Joyful songs, / And in my hands I carry caress, / Spring flowers.”
The song’s lyrics are inspired by the Ukrainian author Volodymyr Ivasyuk, adding a poetic touch. To honour his legacy, the music video was filmed in his hometown, giving the project a sense of creative blessing. Beyond celebrating women, TVORCHI also aim to bring Ukrainian literature into the spotlight, making it more mainstream and accessible for the younger generation.
Miro – “Разкажи ми Приказка”
Miro, a beloved Bulgarian artist who competed in Eurovision 2010, is back with a powerful new ballad called “Tell Me A Story.” The song is accompanied by an artistic lyric video that adds to its emotional depth.
The track paints a picture of a better world — one where people live happily and in harmony — while also delivering a meaningful message: our happiness is in our hands, and we must work together to achieve it.
Roxen – “Save You”
Roxen was originally selected to represent Romania at Eurovision in 2020, but the contest was cancelled due to the pandemic. She was chosen again for the 2021 edition.
This week, Roxen dropped a deeply personal ballad, continuing to explore her unique musical universe. Once again, she goes experimental, delivering a touching song about the fragility and strength of the heart — with a sound that perfectly complements her voice.
Gromee – “Goodbye”
Gromee, the famous Polish DJ who represented Poland in 2018 alongside Lukas Meijer, is back with a new track — and if you’re craving some electro club vibes, this one’s for you!
His latest release is an EDM anthem about holding on to the hope that a loved one will return, with heartfelt lyrics like: “I won’t say goodbye / I’ve done it too many times / My heart still hopes you’ll come back home / And I can’t make it stop.”
Get ready to dance and vibe to the new music video — it’s seriously on fire!
Max Mutzke & Eko Fresh – “Alles so weit weg”
Max, who represented Germany in 2004, has remained a familiar face for Eurovision fans, often appearing in Germany’s national selections.
This week, he’s back with something fresh — a track with rap vibes, thanks to his collaboration with Eko Fresh. The song, “Everything So Far Away,” dives into the feeling of distance — both from the people and the things that sometimes seem just out of reach.
Jeangu Macrooy – “Everybody Needs Somebody”
Jeangu was selected to represent the Netherlands in 2020, but when the contest was cancelled due to the pandemic. He returned in 2021.
His new song is a powerful anthem about togetherness and the simple truth that no one can live in isolation. It’s an uplifting, optimistic track, packed with emotion — a beautiful reminder of the strength we find in unity. About his song, Jeangu said:
“This track is about finding refuge in each other when life gets overwhelming. It’s about wanting to be a safe haven for the ones we care about, a warm embrace. I hope you love it as much as I do!”
Zdob și Zdub feat. Irina Irimes – “Dragobete”
Zdob & Zdub is the Moldovan band that has competed in Eurovision three times: in 2005 (Moldova’s debut), in 2011, and again in 2022. This week, they’re back with a new song — a collaboration with fellow Moldovan artist Irina Rimes, with whom they’ve worked before. The track draws heavily from traditional influences, both in its melody and lyrics, which celebrate Dragobete — a Moldovan and Romanian holiday observed on 24 February, similar to Valentine’s Day, where Dragobete is a mythical figure, often seen as a Cupid-like character.
Bursting with optimism and a rhythm that will get you up from your chair, Zdob & Zdub and Irina Rimes are ready to charm you once again. About their new song, the band said:
“Starting its journey back in February, Dragobetele now arrives with the release of this single, joining the lineup of all spring celebrations — because love has no expiration date and doesn’t follow a calendar. The song marks the first track from Zdob și Zdub’s upcoming album, which is currently in the works — a gift for all their fans, celebrating the band’s 30 years of activity. This track brings a wave of sunny energy we’ve all been missing. Irina’s hypnotic voice creates a perfect contrast with Roman Iagupov’s masculine timbre, all set against the dynamic rhythms that are unmistakably Zdob și Zdub.”
Absolva feat. Ronnie Romero – “Find My Identity”
The next song is a treat for rock lovers. Ronnie, the former lead vocalist of Intelligent Music Project — who represented Bulgaria in 2022 — is back with his unmistakable rock voice.
This time, he teams up with Absolva for a powerful collaboration. The song is all about staying true to yourself and not being afraid to show the world who you really are. It’s a bold, unapologetic anthem that’s part of Absolva’s upcoming album. And let’s not forget — the guitar solos are absolutely mind-blowing.
Lucía Pérez and more – “O Noso Canto”
Lucía, who represented Spain in 2011, is back with a powerful new song — a collaboration with a variety of artists celebrating two important things: International Women’s Day and her Galician roots.
Get ready for some serious women’s power, with an incredible mix of voices and instruments that will leave you absolutely impressed.
Sinplus – “Unnatural Disaster”
The duo Sinplus, who represented Switzerland in 2012, are back with a new song that’s impossible to ignore on this week’s playlist. Their latest track delivers a powerful message about how hate feels like an unnatural disaster taking over the world: “All hate is, all hate is / Unnatural Disaster.”
This song marks the third single from their highly anticipated upcoming album — and we’re all waiting to hear more.
Nico – “Pas cu pas”
Nico, who represented Romania in 2008 alongside Vlad, is back with a new love song that’s sure to warm your heart. Her latest track, “Step by Step,” has a soft acoustic sound and a charming music video to match. The song is all about the importance of finding your special someone and how that love gives meaning to your life. It reminds us that everything else — all the worries and challenges — will work themselves out in time, step by step.
Mihai Trăistariu
Mihai, who represented Romania in 2006, has just released four individual songs this week.
The first, “I Place the Love Between Us,” is a retro tune about how love becomes a light in our lives. The second, “We’re the WiFi of Matching Souls,” speaks about two people deeply connected, even though the connection can’t be seen with the eye.
Next up, “Breath Me In Slowly” is a beautiful love ballad, featuring a collaboration with fellow artist Laura Bogdan. The last song, “Father,” is a heartfelt hymn dedicated to a late father, both missed and celebrated.
Roksana feat. Sofi Marinova – “Разочарование”
Sofi, who represented Bulgaria at Eurovision in 2012, teams up with Roksana for a powerful women’s collaboration.
Their new song, “Disappointment,” features a turbo folk sound and serves as an open letter to a man who wronged them. They’re not willing to forgive or forget, and they send an empowering message: “We are left out alone, man / And do whatever you want / There is nothing to talk about / I am no longer interested.”
Dino Merlin – “Briga”
We wrap up this week with Dino, who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina twice — first in 1999 and again in 2011.
His new song, “Concern,” has an authentic vibe with a traditional sound, paired with an aesthetic music video that showcases Dino’s full charisma. The lyrics speak about waiting for your loved one as long as it takes, not being able to move on, and hoping for their return: “Hey, I’ll wait for you / Until your rosy lips fall silent / Hey, I’ll kiss you / Until my tears cloud my grey cheeks.”
Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
Oh, Isntrael action in here I see.
Still haven’t heard it. I sorta know what to exoect from your descriptions.
The juries will not give Israel many points. They are terrified that the televotes will make Israel the winner. The EBU does not want that to happen, so juries will be briefed accordingly.
You speak so assuredly, even though this is just your own personal theory.
Israel taking a leaf out of the Putin playbook this year.
Not even a smidge surprised by this either. It’s to be expected
A song about peace, by a country that is actively trying to provoke the failure of the c easefire.
Europe is a toothless dog. All bark and no bite.
I don’t think it’s about peace. I think it’s more about the survival of the Israeli state and its citizens. I’m not trying to debate the larger issue, I just think it’s more specific than a general love love peace peace vibe.
The Israeli state and citizens will be fine. It’s one if the most militarised countries on earth.
A song about the survival of the P ales tinian state and its citizens, now that’s a song that would grab peoples attention.
They won’t all be fine. Maybe I’m just a sucker, but Yuval herself survived the attack on October 7 2023. She was at the music festival, and only survived by hiding under the bodies of other attendees. She suffered shrapnel wounds from grenades. That kinda personalizes this song as a tribute to people she actually knew that were killed, which puts it a league way above Polina Gagarina. For me.
Of course, I don’t mean any of this to minimize the horror of what is happening in P alesti ne, or to suggest that their lives are not equally valuable.
Her trauma is real, I respect that.
But our media only ever tells us Israeli trauma. As if it’s the only one that’s important. Not the completely disproportionate trauma that Pales tin Ian’s face on the daily.
Personally I can’t get behind it. And I still don’t think Israel should be participating in this. It doesn’t fit right with me in the context of everything else going on
When the survival of a country depends on the subjugation and ethnic cleansing of an entire people, that’s not safety. That’s privilege.
Absolutely true
Israel’s song is even more disgusting since the government moved to cut electricity to G*za. Singing about peace while 40K in the West Bank are displaced. A spit in the face to why Eurovision was founded.
I see Israel is in its Polina Gagarina phase.
Compared to Yuval, Polina is actually very privileged. Do not bring up her name again. Thanks
Don’t think that it hasn’t escaped me that Yuval’s aunt is a famous Swiss businesswoman.
What do you read into that?
Haha touche!
It’s here, “New Day Will Rise” is a perfect, outstanding song. It brought up a lot of vivid. memories and feelings. Yuval has a fantastic voice. The music video is amazing. The live performances will be spectacular, I’m sure of that. Nobody cries alone. Toda veahava.
I find “New Day Will Rise” a very competent entry and much more touching than I had thought. I expect the live performance to make the entire Eurovision realm vibrate with elevated emotions in mindblowing awe. Heartfelt congratulations to all people involved <3<3<3
Loreen’s new songs are so amazing, she’s getting better and better with every new release.
Can we discuss the Israel entry here, please?
It’s new music.
Thoughts?
Big downgrade compared to last year.
It reminds me of the classic Windmills of Your Mind.
Not really feeling it, especially compared to last year. Hurricane had much more impact.
I actually much prefer it to last year. I’m sure people will attach the same political meanings, maybe justifiably so, but in a normal year I could see this topping the jury vote.
That would imply juries are unbiased, clearly Israel prob should have gotten more jury points last year realistically if it was a normal year. Israel won’t be winning any jury votes any time soon.
To me, it seems the key was to be bland in order to get approved. Probably wouldn’t be able to get a song called Revolution approved, I’m guessing.
I rather love it. A big old school ballad, sung beautifully.
Agree!
Good vocals, 3 languages but the song itself is quite mid
In the most objectively way, I think it is actually quite a good song and I wish Yuval well after what she experienced. And that’s all I have to say
Loreen’s Sage is a real masterpiece.
Loving this Loreen collaboration with Olafur Arnalds! Very atmospheric!
I didn’t know where else was post this, but who is Georgia going to send to Eurovision, and will their song be in English or Georgian? I think we’ll probably know by next weekend.
