Basel hosts the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 this May, where 37 countries are set to compete for the trophy. The Wiwi Jury — our in-house panel of music unprofessionals — has now determined who they think the victor should be. We’ve ranked each of the acts participating at Eurovision 2025 and written our own reviews of their songs. It’s hard work being honest, but somebody has to do it.
Our jury consists of 17 jurors who hail from Australia, Bulgaria, Denmark, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Türkiye, United Kingdom, and the United States of America. We are truly international, y’all!
Each juror assesses each song independently and then awards the entry a score from 1 to 10. The highest and lowest scores are dropped (to remove potential bias) before we then determine the Wiwi Jury average.
Scores and reviews were done in March 2025, based on available versions of the songs at that time. As always, Wiwi Jury reviews will not be changed to reflect new information from pre-party performances or the Eurovision rehearsals.

“We have removed the highest and lowest scores prior to calculating the average. This is to remove outliers and potential bias.”
OK, an honest question, as I don’t really understand this… Let’s say all ratings end up being 1s and 10s. What do you do then?
They just remove a singular review from the top and the bottom – so if 3 Wiwi jurors rated it a 1, only one 1 is removed
I just checked what you said…on a Milkshake Man thread and its scores…and daaaaamn, you are right. Now it all makes even less sense, all kinds of questions arising and quite frankly my OCD is flaring up.
We should boycott Eurovision. EBU deserves this.
Cause of all the mid songs this year?
Greece my winner
I really dont understand why in case of the Greek entry everyone before gives her/his runking talk about the bad staging of the Greek final and finally the song rate lower than should can rate, we don’t know nothing about the stage and we have to do, in my opinion one of the best entries of this year….and I don’t speak about the wiwibloggs, everybody is doing the same
The fact that there are 7 songs out and Denmark in the lead, is suprising but refreshing
They will ALWAYS put a girl bop first.
But not for me….In my list so far Switzerland the best followed by Greece
Apparently yes, 15 songs in and Denmark is still second. Losing to Greece by a small margin
Why Israel is still not banned?
Cos the moolah is good.
Absolutely, how can we all participate in this zone of interests
YAYYY!! i’ve been waiting for this
Oh man, it’s a “coming soon” article and not the actual ratings. Can’t wait!
First comment!
Thanks for the hard work, Jonathan and co.!
