Zoë Më – “Voyage” (Switzerland Eurovision 2025)
Review: Zoë Më – “Voyage”
William: In a year filled with screams and shrieks and gimmicks, Zoë quietly enters the stage armed with subtlety and heart. It’s more than enough. Along with Italy, this song is perhaps the sweetest of the year. Yet in the sweetness there is also drive and direction, leading to one of the most lovely choruses of the year. The host country curse feels a lot weaker this year. Zoë’s perfectly pitched ballad is in a league of its own.
Score: 8
Lucy: “Voyage” is an incredibly pretty entry, sung in Zoë Më’s distinguished style. It’s dainty, and unique in this year’s field. My issue is that her voice is so soft throughout — not even increasing in power at all in the dramatic moment near the end — that I find myself rather unentertained. I want to like this more and admittedly, very slowly, this is starting to warm to me a little, but I’ll never find myself rushing back. It’s important to note that this has some huge fans, and it will definitely have it’s audience in Basel. It just won’t be me on the phone voting.
Score: 5
Pablo: It surprises me how much Billie Eilish still finds a way to influence entries in the contest. However, “Voyage” feels like the first entry to evoke this new direction of Billie, while also showing specks of Disney’s Golden Age and Bulgaria’s Victoria from 2020 and 2021. While it is lyrically gorgeous and poignant, I find myself wishing that this fantastic bridge offered more connection between both parts of the song, for it sounds like a great add-on without the proper cement. Nonetheless, a fantastic addition to the year and another great package to add to the Swiss repertoire.
Score: 7
Scarlett: “Voyage” is the type of song that quietly makes a statement with its simplicity. Zoë’s angelic voice might be soft but it carries the song with confidence, helping the melody to grow and bloom. The change in tempo – plus the increased rhythmic elements – towards the end keep the song from becoming sleepy. It was an unexpected transition but it didn’t feel forced. All of these elements make “Voyage” a refreshing standout in a field of high-energy entries in this year’s competition.
Score: 6.5

This is my winner and I happy to see so many people here think like me.
I find it very strange that it is only 16 in the odds, I would expect minimum a top 5 for this wonderful song.
I could be dreaming but I would not mind to have a delicate soft song winning everything. It would be the first time since 2017 that a song of this type wins.
Such a beautiful song, its going to do better than the predictions.
think people are underestimating this… switzerland have had a renaissance with music quality and staging over the last few years. voyage is no different, this will have amazing staging and fingers crossed earns a well deserved top 10 finish (even if it’s on the lower end of that)
sublime
This is very lovely and so soft.
Wonderful song joining Isr & France as the big 3 ballads this year
Beautiful song. Top
If you consider their run of songs since She Got Me 2019, Switzerland deserves accolade of most improved country in contemporary era.
She Got Me was good…unlike the ones that followed. Until Voyage…
I looove She Got Me!
I’ve heard this song several times and to be frank I still don’t remember anything about it and struggle to think of a tune to hum.
It’s really the ideal host entry. There’s no need to shout for attention, so why not send something poetic and graceful on a human scale. It should be a lovely palate cleanser in the grand final. I’ve got it at #11 right now but with room to go up.
Imho the best song of this edition and perfect host entry. With proper staging it can take us on a journey across the beautiful Swiss landscapes. I hope the juries help it place in the top 10 at least.
My clear winner. If I watch in May, that’s where my vote will go.
If?
Yes, only 3-4 songs that I really want to see, and quite a lot of those I’d much rather miss. Last time I made a break was, I think, in 2015, it does me good to do it from time to time. This edition seems a perfect one to skip.
I’m not super in love with it it’s okay and that’s fine
Shouldn’t we know its running order by now?
We do. It’s 19. 🙂
#19
19th!
Just beautiful!
Switzerland 11/12
I really like it. It’s like a breath of fresh air, so calming. This song always sucks me in and it goes by very quickly. Scared it won’t translate that feeling on the stage
9/10
Beautiful song. This is in my Top 5.
4th place : Switzerland: Oh how I wouldn’t mind a back-to-back victory for Switzerland! Voyage is a really beautiful and touching song for me. The zen atmosphere, combined with Zoe’s sweet vocals and the romantic undertone felt so hard-hitting from the first time I heard the track. The song is also deep instrumentally with the bridge being also well-crafted. The whole track is melancholic but at the same time also hopeful. I also have to congratulate them on the music video concept which added to the song’s value. I really hope this song does not fly under the radar among… Read more »
Switzerland – I love how gentle this song is, and it definitely stands out from the crowd. Soft voices usually don’t do too much for me, but Zoë’s absolutely works for this. It’s a really refreshing pick for a host entry and I hope it does well in Eurovision. 8/10
I lovr it when winning country cones back with a classy song. This one’s in my top 5 this year.
Switzerland is in my top 3 this year.
The audacity to score ‘Voyage’ a 4.5… in my opinion it’s better than Louane’s ‘Maman’.
I completely agree with that
If there’s something bad to say about this song, Thanos is here, well present.
It is.
In what?
It’s not audacity… other terms come to mind.
I agree. Maman is quite over hyped imo
Ofc …what else
And the audacity to put Louane song down for free and no real reasons in fact cause “maman” has still no be reviewed here, it’s ok? Somebody needs to fix his misplaced obsession I guess and forget Louane if you can’t stand her song at this point. That way to put down the others just to try to elevate your fav is disgusting. One or other is not better they are different even if they are 2 ballads in French, I repeat they are different, so keep comparing if it satisfies you but it makes no sense when you do… Read more »
Deserves Top 10
8. Switzerland – Zoe Me – Voyage – 8.5/10 – the most emotionally charged song for me this year. There is an understated quality which really drives home the song’s message. The melancholic sweetness of the melody and the short burst of urgency perfectly lean into the spectrum of emotions to be felt on this journey. Zoe performs the song with exemplary grace and gentility, like a soothing, warm embrace, comforting the listener in knowing that everything will be alright in the end.
Deserves top 10. No ifs no buts
SWITZERLAND – In a year as musically loud and expressive as 2025 a beautiful and gentle song can go a long way. When I first heard Voyage, I liked it, but thought it might be a bit too subtle, but with each new take, I fell in love with it more and more. The melody is gorgeous and takes me back to the days of old cinema. The instrumental choices are delicate and enhance the impact. Despite of being slow and nostalgic, at the end of this journey, one can feel more optimistic and hopeful than gloomy. The song starts… Read more »
Yeah, that lyric is probably my favourite line of the year. 🙂 Very poignant.
I’m stuck in the approval queue but this is one of those rare entries which unites us! Your description of a warm blanket is almost identical to mine.
I read it as the journey of self-love and learning to love every aspect of ourselves. It’s a gorgeous track.
I am so glad that most of us seem to be on the same page here! A truly amazingly beautiful entry and at the same time interesting and non-formulaic. It has to do good and will get my votes!
Answering to Thanos, Ari and Kosey – I am very happy to see we all like this song. It’s really beautiful. I hope it scores really well, breaking the host entry curse. May I even suggest the remote option of it being a dark horse to win the jury?
It’s quite amazing so many of us here agree on this one. Hopefully a good sign that Zoë will not go unnoticed in May. A jury or overall victory for that song would be fantastic for the contest.
In a fair world it actually should tbh. Not sure how the fact that Switzerland is the host country this year will factor in the equation
Switzerland is my number 3 in 2025, and it wins my “key change of the year” award. Switzerland’s music video was also in contention for “video of the year”, but didn’t win that prize. Oh, what a beautiful song. This is a genuine surprise coming from the host country, which usually would try to not win again (for cost reasons). The song is in E-flat major to start with (one of my favourite keys to play on piano; thank you Zoë and songwriters). The beginning of the song, from Verse 1 through the Pre-Chorus and the Chorus, is all driven… Read more »
Great take on that special song, I see it quite similarly.
Great review Purple. I read it as if the adversary in the lyrics is ourselves and how we’ll learn to go on the journey with all aspects. I think it’s a really beautiful and life-affirming track.
Probably my favorite song. This should do no worse than top 5, but at the very least avoid the fate of overlooked host entry. Delicate and introspective, some great lines in the lyrics, sung with such serenity, it provides the contrast I long for to all the loud entries this year. I’d love to see this win and make a double for Switzerland. In any case, this is how you do a host entry. It’s in the final, just pick somebody who can 100% do their own thing, unbothered. A much needed standout.
