Czechia at Eurovision 2025: ADONXS with “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”
ADONXS was born in Myjava, Slovakia, but raised in Senica. From a young age, ADONXS was drawn to both singing and dancing — he is a five-time Slovak Champion in street dance.
While in high school, he co-founded the genre-bending music group PACE with his classmate, now film composer Adrián Čermák. The group later expanded internationally. ADONXS later attended the British and Irish Modern Music Institute in London, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Songwriting and Creative Musicianship, graduating with first-class honours.
In 2021, Adonxs won SuperStar, the joint Czech-Slovak version of Idols, becoming the first openly queer winner of the competition. He is an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. His stage name is a tribute to Adonis, the Greek god of beauty and desire, whose androgynous depiction reflects ADONXS’ own exploration of gender fluidity.
ADONXS was selected internally to represent Czechia. He initially premiered an acoustic version of his entry at Malta Eurovision Song Contest, where he was invited as a special guest.

One of the weekest songs in the second semi final.. i know it’s unpopular opinion but i have a feeling that Adonxs wont qualify.. the song is quite ok (boring though) and his voice is quite strong but i miss authenticity here… and the dance break is the most cringe moment of all the songs.. i could even understand that if the guy could dance well.. but he cannot deliver… he is like a wood.. the most awkward moment, sorry…
I thought it was “drunken apathy.” I like my version better lol

But that’s the problem. It doesn’t feel like a song about his father. It feels more a song saying goodbye to a lover abandoned you. The only way that I can justify why there to dance break because he’s trying to dance off emotions and then he’s like nah.
