Surrounded by Eurovision legends, they will have a chance to experience this year’s competition almost like a contestant, with exclusive backstage access and the best seats in the house in the Booking.com Blue Room.

We’re not just hyping this to hype this. We sat in the Booking.com Blue Room last year next to icons like WRS, Conchita Wurst and even Drag Race star and new SBS Eurovision commentator Courtney Act! That’s where we filmed this video of Jedward singing their own song ahead of Semi-Final 1. So how can you win? Scroll down, read on….

The Ultimate Experience for Eurovision Fans

The Eurovision fairytale begins on Friday May 16, as the lucky booker and their guest are whisked away for a backstage tour of the St. Jakobshalle—the striking venue for this year’s contest—accompanied by 2009 Norwegian winner and 2018 entrant Alexander Rybak for an exclusive sneak peek behind the scenes of Eurovision.

After a moment to rest and recharge at their luxurious suite at the Nomad Design & Lifestyle Hotel, they’ll rise like a phoenix to attend Booking.com’s Legends Dinner. In between canapés, drinks and a three-course meal, they’ll watch intimate performances from: 2014 Austrian winner Conchita Wurst, 1999 winner and 2008 entrant for Sweden Charlotte Perrelli, 2016 Ukrainian winner Jamala, and Alexander Rybak. After dinner, Jedward, the energetic identical twins who represented Ireland in 2011 and 2012, will round out the night with a sing-a-long session for the VIP guests.

With this year’s host city considered the cultural capital of Switzerland, the booker will also receive €500 of Booking.com credits so they can explore the best of Basel’s attractions during their visit.

On the big night, the two fans will be taken to their heaven as they watch the Grand Final in the company of Eurovision Legends in the Booking.com Blue Room. Located next to this year’s Green Room, the Booking.com Blue Room is as close to all the action of this year’s contest as it’s possible to get without taking part – an unforgettable, douze points experience for any Eurovision fan.

Matthias Schmid, Senior Vice President of Accommodations at Booking.com said:  “As a Swiss native and massive music fan, my heart is swelling with pride that we are collaborating with five Eurovision Legends to create such an iconic experience in Basel for two of our lucky customers. Being able to bring together the inclusive, unifying magic of Eurovision with the joy of travel is truly a delight.”

There is another Israel supporting sponsor. Oh well, Ginger Johnson withdrew from Manchester Pride due to Booking’s sponsorship last year.
