We’ve made it to the final day of Eurovision 2025 second rehearsals. On Saturday, the six automatic qualifiers will be returning to Basel’s St. Jakobshalle arena for another chance to perfect their performances.

This time around, they’ll have 20 minutes to undertake another few run throughs and to check whatever changes they requested following the first rehearsal.

The EBU will release 30-second teaser clips on social platforms throughout the day, with a full roundup published on YouTube at the end.

We’ll try to update this post as things drop. Regardless, please share your thoughts in the comments section throughout the day!

?t is really boring to see constant overhyping Sweden’s song whereas constant underrating certain countries’ song.

UK. The BBC released a teaser video on their socials. It looks like the chandelier flies whist the girls perform on it at some point. We’re getting theatrics!!!

I hope Italy would be in top 10; this Song is really underrated because everyone is busy with overhyping certain other countries.

From the big 6 Switzerland is by far my favorite. The song and vocals are excellent and the intimate and artistic staging really works in a line-up full of pyro and dance breaks. France looks great too but it’s not a winner song in my eyes. Mon Amour and Voilà were better. Germany is my 3rd from the big 6. The song is so contemporary and has grown on me a lot.

Switzerland is a very good song, Zoe is a good singer, and I feel the staging elevates the song with more intimacy. Well done!

France on the other hand is a safe bet. Top-10 probably and the sand thing works well.

the best yesterday were germany and switzerland. that curtain drop from germany’s looks amazing, with the tynna’s silhouette.
now let’s talk about the rest:

UK: the stating destroys their chances of doing well with the juries, and they could do well very well in that department

Italy: this could go from top 10 to last place. completely unpredictable

Spain: honestly, not shooting a dead horse here

France: will she stay 3 min playing with sand? i like the song, but that staging is a nope imo

It sounds like we’re getting a esc version of wthjh. The instrumental sounds more live and the vocal arrangement is different to the studio cut. So exciting!!!

Italy staging reminds me of the 1970’s performance of David Bowie singing Starman when he puts his arm around the neck of his band mate on UK top of the pops. i think he was called Mick Ronson. It was seen as outrageous at that time.

UK / Germany / Spain hot favourites for Bottom-5, unfortunately. Not enough, not competitive.

France is sweet. Top-10 perhaps. Not so sure.

Italy. Top-10 perhaps again (juries and televote love Italy and that’s usually enough for a Top-10 finish).

Next Saturday is going to be an extraordinary day. Not only will my favorite program, Doctor Who, air the same day as Eurovision, but they are actually doing a Eurovision-themed episode to tie into the real contest. Not only that, Ncuti Gatwa, the current Doctor, will be the UK spokesperson giving out their jury’s 12 points. This is a crossover day that I have only been dreaming for years and it’s finally happened.
Move over Barbenheimer, it’s WhoVision’s time to shine!

Well, um, this year, the Big5 are a bit disappointing. Germany: it’s a no from me. Song or performance-wise I can’t see anything that excites me Italy: it just doesn’t click. It’s kind of quality and may have a high artistic value. But I don’t like it. And it’s high time that Italy exited the Top-10 for a year. France: it’s good. Not very exciting song but the staging is good. Spain: I guess the comparison will always be with Chanel. And again, this time, it’s Chanel – everything else 3-0. It’s a no from me. UK: poor UK. Whatever they send, they end up Top-10 (like Sweden), one way or another. Ukraine and Israel, too. We need a bit more competition but regardless, Italy does it very well with San Remo and sends super competitive entries (perhaps not that much this year).

Zoë Më looks a bit like the Mona Lisa and seems like a truly artistic person. This feeling she gives off could be good for Switzerland. Televoters like musicians who are seen as serious artists and she could get their votes in the contest.

I loooove the Swiss song. If it was in the semis, it would struggle to qualify with televote only. The juries will love it. Not sure how high it will end up but I am rooting for CH. And, yes, it’s true, she is like Mona Lisa, what a wonderful comparison.

Yeah, a song like Voyage would struggle in a televote semi finals, no matter how good it is, which is why it’s the host country entrant and not a normal competitor. Since Switzerland is already in the final by virtue of being the host country, they could send whatever they want without the risk of non-qualification, and that’s exactly what they did here.

Germany is so good this year! Spain, UK too

Unfortunately, the juries will ruin the contest again (they will vote based on geographical criteria. The northern countries will vote Sweden, the southern countries for Austria).

They dare to vote Greece? Poland? Italy?

If juries exist, countries like Croatia (the real winner last year), won’t have a chance.
