If there is one thing Anggun has taught us, it’s that winning isn’t everything. Undeterred by her 22nd position in Baku last year, Anggun has been on a roll! She embarked on an extensive tour in Germany, Switzerland and France promoting her album Echoes. Her live dates were met with critical acclaim, and most of the tour dates sold out. In that time she cemented her relationship with Jean Paul Gaultier, and became the muse of several prestigious fashion designers.
In 2013, she took the Echoes tour to her homeland, Indonesia. She was embraced with open arms, and invited to be a permanent judge on the Indonesian X Factor. Several endorsements followed including Pantene and Oral B, and high-profile interviews on BBC World. She is a regular feature in lifestyle and music magazines from Paris to Jakarta. Her new album borrows Janet Jackson’s album title—Design of A Decade—and looks at her string of hits from 2003 to date. She doesn’t just work. She works it.
Currently, a new version of “Snow on the Sahara” produced by Lebanese-Canadian musician K.Maro is dominating the Indonesian airplay charts. She participated on the musical project Thérèse – Vivre d’amour, a concept album of the poems by St. Therese of Lisieux, and recorded two duets with Canadian singer Natasha St-Pier.
For fans who can’t wait until the international release dates, there is good news. She is currently gracing the covers of Indonesian Tatler and Femina magazines. And she’s nominated for three awards at the 2013 World Music Awards in the World’s Best Female Artist, World’s Best Live Act and World’s Best Entertainer of the Year categories. anggun had a concert back in june 2012 in Bassel Switzerland before Paris concert and Schiller concert in Germany and it’s definitely proven that her lost in eurovision didnt make her career slop but she’s flying up to the sky right now with all new project of hers such as Therese concept album in France & Europe, Best-Of Design of a Decade 03-13 in Indonesia & Asia, X Factor Indonesia, endorsements deal, as well as being nominated in 3 categories in WMA! not to forget her soon to be fragrance project…i guess bravo anggun and keep making us your fans… Read more »

Anggun has long carreer time, and she is hard worker woman and profesional singer and recently she nominated 3 categories world’s best female artist, world’s best live act, world’s best entertainer o the year at World Music Awards 2013
that tour with echoes through germany and swiss i must have missed, she did join schiller on his tour and visited those countries, but with no new songs or such.
still always looking forward to new anggun material and hoping for more touring.

Dont forget her concert in a country at the corner of the world named New Caledonia, yes I agree that winning isn’t everything most of eurovision past winners can not give you guarantee of succesful/ sustainable career, while Anggun walked her long 27 years music careers just like her statement: music is my life.
