Her career has gone from strength to strength following her appearance at Eurovision 2015, with a spate of genre-defying singles and a successful stint as an X Factor judge under her belt.
And now Nina Sublatti is back with a new single, the other-wordly “Spiritual”. The track features The Mins, who competed in Georgia’s Eurovision 2017 selection on January 20th with their entry “Crime”.
Nina Sublatti Spiritual feat. The Mins (Official Audio)
“Spiritual” is intense and moody. Prime Nina territory right?
Here things feel darker than usual, with The Mins’ alternative rock influence adding weight and depth.
This track is much heavier on guitar and bass than some of Nina’s previous releases, and the tone feels quite serious as a result.
The fusion of The Mins’ lead singer Zviad Mgebrishvili’s gentle backing vocals and Nina’s powerful voice is stirring.
Lyrically too, “Spiritual” covers dark territory:”Lyrical, my old friends are still looking for guns, they say it’s spiritual“. The chorus is simple yet effective, with Nina declaring “I’m not making an apology here” with more and more purpose each time. This is serious rock people!
Back in March 2016, Nina performed an acoustic version of “Spiritual” on Georgian TV and was accompanied by Zviad Mgebrishvili on guitar. Which version do you prefer?

Since sharing the track on social media, “Spiritual” has gotten the seal of approval from fans. But hey, what’s not to love?
So, what do you think of “Spiritual”? Do you like this even darker side of Nina? Let us know in the comments below!
Georgia at Eurovision
Georgia has reached the Eurovision grand final for the past two years, with Nina finishing 11th in 2015 and Nika Kocharov & Young Georgian Lolitaz coming 20th in Stockholm.
The country will be hoping to maintain its qualification streak for 2017. Tako Gachechiladze won their national selection in January, beating 24 other acts including The Mins. She will sing “Keep The Faith” in Kyiv.

I have absolutely no knowledge of computer programming however I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyway, should you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject however I simply had to ask. Cheers!
