She’s got us stuck in a loop, and we are thrilled to announce that Malta’s Sarah Bonnici will be coming to the London Eurovision Party! Yes that’s right, she will bring her fierce choreo, hopefully including THAT flip, on April 7th.

Fans adore her for her incredible stage presence and can witness this in person at Here At Outernet. Are you ready to dance? Let’s go!

Who is Sarah Bonnici?

Sarah Bonnici will be representing Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, in May. She will be vying to get Malta a good result, after their unjust last place in their near-impossible semi last year.

Twenty-five year old Sarah is from the northern island of Gozo in Malta. She attempted to represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2009, coming third. A year later, she came 7th, but she did get to go to the contest as a dancer at least!

She also entered the adult national final twice (after coming 12th in 2022), but this time, she is the star of the show, after beating icon Mxtt Black into second palce by a huge 22 points. The Maltese queen absolutely stormed the jury, being well ahead of her competitiors, so her place at Eurovision was inevitable by this point.

Sarah is an excellent dancer, including a full 360 vertical flip, with the help of 2 dancers in the final. Aside from her performing talents, she is a qualified accountant having got her Master’s Degree.

London Eurovision Party 2024

The London Eurovision Party is the biggest annual Eurovision event in the United Kingdom.

The party will see a majority of artists from the year of 2024, but joining them will be some Eurovision alumni too. This year the party celebrates its 15th edition at Here at Outernet in the UK capital.

Here at Outernet is a large concert venue right in the beating heart of London. It is known for its artistic styling and modern spaces. The London Eurovision Party will provide an excellent chance for a British audience to see their favourite acts before the contest itself.

We still have plenty of announcements to come so stay tuned!

How do you know she ‘will slay’ in London? She might have a bad night where everything goes wrong- all performers have ’em at some point. I’m not hoping for it, just hate the hyperbolic, assumptive headline. Just change ‘will’ to ‘preparing to’ or something like that.

It will struggle because it’s a weak song in a strong semi. Your taste is very very questionable. I don’t know why you think Malta and not Slovenia is taking the music seriously

Not quite my favourite Bejba, but I commend Malta for going with the Iive performance as their official video. Better that than some over-produced video giving out too high expectations.

But when will she release her song on Spotify?

The Maltese PR team has been really silent ever since they tried to throw everything at Europe to win back in 2021. It’s a real shame to go from annoying everyone with your PR to the point they end up hating you, to being barely present. They haven’t grasped the simple concept that Spotify is now a major streaming platform and the finalised song needs to be released as early as possible, especially since the Maltese entry has been known for ages now.

I don’t know a worse broadcaster, PBS is completely disconnected from reality, from not allowing artists to release their songs on Spotify before the MESC final despite the songs being premiered months in advance to keeping the winner song hostage for so long!
