Pre-contest favourite Siru may have crashed out in neighbouring Finland, but rest assured that Estonia’s Elina Born and Stig Rästa have advanced in Eesti Laul.
Yes, on Saturday evening Estonia staged its second semi-final, and expectations were high for the duo. A total of 10 contestants competed for a place in the final, but only five acts made it through, including the beloved duo.
You can check out the first set of finalists below. Did we hear the potential winner of Eesti Laul, or even the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest?

The Eesti Laul 2015 Final will take place on February 21 at the Nordea Concert Hall in the Estonian Capital, Tallinn. We now have our 10 competing songs that will battle it out to fly the Estonian flag in Vienna. The format is jury 50% and tele voting 50% and two entries for the super final.
Do you like the five songs that made it through, or did you think the jury had it right to begin with? Did your favourite go out – let us know in the comments!
I think that Elina & Stig with “Goodbye to Yesterday” should win!
I am supporting Elisa Kolk with “Superlove” all the way to Vienna! Nothing I heard last night made me feel any different.
Oh, Estonia, spot on! You’re having the best NF of them all. Every song is better than the one before, in the lineup. Well done.
I actually love that staging for goodbye to yesterday plus the fact it’s in a lounge type environment, since it’s about leaving a home and a relationship, amazing. I so badly hope they win eesti laul. Would be outrageous if they didn’t.
Im in love for Goodbye to yesterday
There can only be one choice: Goodbye to yesterday <3 one of those songs you put in one category with euphoria, fairytale and my number one. Only jurys can prevent their victory in estonia!!!
I hope they will make it to vienna and improve their performance
I LOVE Goodbye to yesterday but somehow the staging doesnt work for me. The black n white is okay, but the way they are standing there….i just dont know (and yes i do understand the message of the song), i think it should be different. Right now, it does not look like a ESC winner, with this stage act they wont win.
Goodbye to Yesterday is great but is it too close to Common Linets? Even the staging is looking similar. It would be an interesting development if it won ESC 2015 after Common Linets coming so close.
THis year, it’s THREE songs in the superfinal for the very first time.
Kuum Noooooo
I think Luisa has such a big chance to win – hey, she’s wife of the PM of Estonia 😀
Goodbye to Yesterday !!! <3
Stunning performance from Elina and Stig, but I have to say that the other songs aren’t bad either. But still – “Goodbye to yesterday” is OUTSTANDING!
Shocked to see Windhelm not make it and disappointed NimmerSchmidt didn’t make it either but I was expecting that one. I heard the lead singer of Windhelm sounded horrible so I guess that’s why. I think it’s pretty obvious Elina & Stig will go to Vienna and I’ll support that 110%.
