Eurosong 2015 – the Irish national selection for Eurovision – will take place on 27 February. Among the hopefuls is Erika Selin. She’s joined forces with the masterminds behind “Kom”, and will sing the upbeat pop number “Break Me Up”.
The Swedish singer’s schedule is jam-packed as she prepares for Friday’s show, but she managed to squeeze in some time to give her first Eurosong press interview to wiwibloggs. Erika tells us why she hopes to sing for Ireland, shares her memories of Swedish Idol and explains how she overcame Melfest rejection in 2010. She also reveals her favourite Eurovision song of all time, and gifts us with a stunning cover of Johnny Logan’s “Hold Me Now”.
