Georgia: Nina Sublatti selects logo for her entry “Warrior”

  • Posted on April 23, 2015April 23, 2015
  • byRezo Mamsikashvili

Back on March 18 Nina Sublatti — Georgia’s Eurovision 2015 singer — and Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) announced a contest to design the Georgian logo for Eurovision. After combing through 52 submissions they have finally revealed the winning design, which comes from Ana Asatiani. The bold logo, which you can see at top, hints at the strength of a warrior — check out the sword through the O. Yet it’s still stylish and chic, just like Nina.

Nina, who picked the design in conjunction with the Eurovision production team from GPB, will not tattoo it on her body as originally suggested. Instead it will go on the cover of her CD. Far more people will see it this way!

All of the submitted artwork is available on Eurovision Georgia’s Official Facebook page. There’s a huge range of ideas on show, involving birds, masks, and even a tiger cub. But all of them hint at the fearlessness of a warrior! Are you loving the winning design?

All that stuff about Nina and her fans is just way too pretentious… She’ll probably stay in semi-final.

Nina s song is like a copy of Woodkid (both the instrumental performances and video) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSkb0kDacjs.

So this song is not original.

@mario I don’t think you of all people should be complaining about someone else’s spam comments. Your comments are just as bad, just as irritating and you both should be perminatly blocked.

@Maltish, really not my intention to cause hatred on this site, from now on i will relax some more, but i’m proud to have her and Albania and italy as my favourites.

so from now on i’ll relax and can’t wait for all of the rehearsals.

@Nicky: I think by now 100% of the site, knows that you love Malta. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not really a bad thing but the spamming way in which you do it is horrendous. Tone it down a bit, or you’ll just make people on this site hate an already not so popular Maltese entry. Calm down take a deep breath and support Malta just like the Italians, Spanish and Swedish support their entry that is at the right time, the right place and using the correct netiquette.

WHY are you constantly comparing Georgia and Malta? The only similarity the songs share are that they have the same name – that’s it. Two different genres, two different approaches to the song, two different acts. Get over it.

@Nicky: Just pick a song and stick with it. I hope you notice that your behaviour here was unacceptable. Post ounce and that’s it. Don’t shove your believes in other’s people faces, heck try to not mention any country in a post all about another country. This is doing more harm overall to the song you love, I hope you notice that.

#StopNicky1991. I think I represent most of the community of WiwiBloggs when I say that this person should be stopped from posting as he is literally spamming everywhere. I bet 80% of the post in the Georgia Warrior logo article are all made by him. Please stop this spammer for a better site. Thank you Maltish.

@Mario, sorry for judging you , but you are right Amber is so sympathetic and really good looking that i lost my self till it became obsessive, i like her song, first i hated the song i confess. but i’m positive she’ll make the final.

@Mario, if we stop with this nonsense, and i just hope she’ll advance and i don’t know where the hatred is coming from, like i said you should not as rivals Nina and Amber, i like them both, and i hope they both advance to the finals.

so we’ll post no more hateful comments, i’ll stop spamming, but i’m worried for Amber that she’ll may not have enough voters, that’s the reason.

so good luck for all of us on wiwibloggs

Its you that you will be the responsible for this.. No one should get blocked of course…I do not want you to get blocked & i do not have anything personal against you of course.. @ Well Nicky just chill out please girl….I really like your Amber’s *Warrior* too…
Its actually my winner on the 2nd semifinal & my #2 most favorite entry among all the 40 entries..
I would even had Amber’s song 1st as my favorite song over Nina’s if Amber had not changed her initial version making it too calm and less fierce than her first recorded version..
I really like Amber too and she looks very sympathetic…So the fact that i just liked Nina’s song doesn’t mean that i’m the ”enemy” & have something against Amber..

Nina is stunning, sexy voice, powerful, elegant, and everything malta is NOT!!!

Amber is weak in her vocals, not a poweful song, not elegant , can’t sing high notes.

Meaning: Nina advance to the final, Amber doesn’t . it has already been a set up. Nina wins the song contest, and Amber will get 0 points in the semi final a low for Malta.

@Just Mario, hopefully for you Nina qualifies, i also like this Warrior for being fierce , but my Amber is really a sweet Warrior Princess with some emotional lyrics with a message anyone can relate to. i really hope Georgia and Malta both Qualify for the final. but Nina needs to smile more instead of looking angry .

Good Luck for your Amazon Nina, and good that you are supportive of Georgia, just like i’m supportive of Malta and i heard her already live she was good last weekend. Amber received a standing ovation by her audience in Valletta.

Great design! <3 The Shield + The Sword That The Proud *Warrior* Needs! <3 Georgia's entry is laced very low on the bedding odds and many eurofans do not really like it unfortunately… But i don't care personally…As i really love Nina's song! <3 4 me it really stands out from all the rest entries 🙂 Its my personal winner & most favorite song! <3 Im gonna vote 4 Georgia 4 sure! <3 Hopefully my country Greece will give plenty points to Nina on the semifinal & hopefully on the final too! <3 🙂 It can do really good especially… Read more »
