Kaliopi’s high heels have put in some major mileage in recent months as the “Dona” singer worked her way across Europe and back. The Macedonian diva recently brought her foreign promo to a close, traveling to Tirana — a city she has visited numerous times before. She was a guest performer at the 2007 Kënga Magjike finale and has written songs for Kënga Magjike.
All that experience might explain why she seemed so at ease over the weekend, appearing on RTSH’s programme Kolor and chatting with Andri Xhau on Radio Tirana.
You can see Kaliopi enjoying the Albanian sunshine at Skënderbej Square down below. She’s whipping her hair back Willow Smith style!
The highlight of Kaliopi’s trip was her performance of “Dona” on TV Klan’s popular programme E diela shqiptare.
The host of the programme Adrit Gjebrea described Kaliopi as an”international star” and she proved that with her on-point vocals and command of the camera. Her segment on the show begins at 16:38 in the video below. Her actual performance starts at 25:00.
Kaliopi really knows how to work her tongue, and she thanked the audience in Albanian, saying that she was super pleased to have come.
Nice to see Macedonian Diva having good time in Albania. Hope those two countries can be good neighbours to each other.
I love “Dona”, it’s a very beautiful, emotional and meaningful song and Kaliopi’s vocals slay! She deserves to make it to the Grand Final.
Bella Dona!
