She has finally completed her dream of appearing at Eurovision. She has also launched her new Wild Wild Wonderland album. Now Finnish songstress Saara Aalto is rumoured to be entering a wild Wonderland of a different kind — the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Season 22 of Celebrity Big Brother is set to launch in August 2018. The concept for this season will be Eye of the Storm. Rumours have been swirling linking Aalto with the program. Saara recently teased fans on social media revealing a secret that she has to share. Whether or not Saara’s big news relates to Celebrity Big Brother remains to be seen, however she used the hashtag #BackInTheUK suggesting that there could be some fact behind these rumours.
Sceptics of the rumours have pointed out that Saara’s scheduled performance at Europride in Stockholm will conflict with the filming of Celebrity Big Brother.
Although this seems a valid argument, the program has been known to introduce contestants as latecomers to the show. This would make it entirely plausible for Saara Aalto to complete her Europride commitments before entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Super excited to perform at Europride in Stockholm on 2.8!!! ???? This Eurovision party is going to be ???? #wildwildwonderland #europride #stockholmpride #saaraaalto #monsters #eurovision pic.twitter.com/hjkcmasENj

Other celebrities rumoured to be on the show include Stormy Daniels, Kirstie Alley, Scott Disick, Samantha Markle and Sally Morgan.
Eurovision stars on Celebrity Big Brother
Saara Aalto would not be the first Eurovision star to participate in Celebrity Big Brother. Ireland 2011 and 2012 representatives Jedward have twice competed on the program, finishing third and second. Saara wouldn’t even be the first Finnish Eurovision star to make an appearance on the show. Krista Siegfrids appeared on the spinoff Big Brother’s Bit on the Side.
Saara Aalto is no stranger to the British public, having competed on the thirteenth season of The X Factor UK, where she placed second.
What do you think of these rumours? Do you want to see Saara Aalto make an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother? What celebrities would you like to see join Saara in the house? Let us know in the comments below.
I hope she doesnt destroy her career by this move.
Plausible but, not for sure. I’ll think she’ll be great but there is one other ESC alum that I would want to see on the show and that is…..Cascada’s own Natalie Horler. I think she would be brilliant.
I imagine she’d be the housemate who makes everyone cups of tea.
Don’t worry guys, the secret was her European tour, not some trashy reality show! Go check her ig 🙂
Thank you! I have checked her insta now 😀 😀 Hopefully these tour dates are Saara’s only surprise for us this autumn! So much better then CBB 😉
Everyone’s saying she’s so much better than CBB?? Really? She screams desperation – she’d be perfect for it.
Can’t we get Saara on Strictly or Dancing on Ice rather than big brother
I think CBB starts on the 17th of August. And the dates show she has plenty of time between the two. I personally wouldn’t mind if she went in but not at the top of my choices.
I think Saara is great but leaving her label, then doing Eurovision, and now doing Big Brother is all leading to her never being able to be taken seriously as an actual mainstream pop recording artist.
Although I’d honeslty love for her to go in, I think it wouldn’t be a great move for her career…
Oh honey, please don’t. I like watching celebrity big brother in Germany, because it’s so trashy and all the so-called ,,celebrities” in there are tragic figures nobody knows about, desperate for just the tiniest bit of attention. It’s entertaining for sure, but I don’t want to see Saara go down that path. She should be above that.
Saara Aalto is my favorite artist of 2018 and I adore her so much, so I also wonder if this would be the right decision. On the one hand the “stars” competing in Big Brother are mostly no real stars. In Germany they are former competitors of Top Model, Bachelor, Dschungel Camp etc. So Saara is really too “good” as a singer and performer to compete in a trashy reality show like this. On the other hand it might be quite entertaining to watch Saara in a show, talking, making jokes with others and so on. But has it to… Read more »
As much as I love Saara Aalto and everything that she has done on the X factor UK and Eurovision, I feel like this would be a very bad move on her part. She is so much better than Big Brother and I feel like if she were to go on a reality show like that it would discredit how much of an amazing and talented performer and singer that she is. Whatever you do please don’t do this Saara
oh god no, that’s desperation.
