Just like Santa Claus, Festivali i Këngës is coming to town! This year’s renewed Fest’ 57 will take place in a bit more than two weeks, and today, RTSH released the running order for the first night.

Many familiar faces are taking part at FiK 57, and indeed, the opening and closing act are two former Festivali i Këngës participants: Bojken Lako will be the first act to sing, while last year’s hit maker Orgesa Zaimi will close the show. Here’s the full list:

Festivali i Këngës 57 – running order

  1. Bojken Lako
  2. Alar Band
  3. Lidia Lufi
  4. Kujtim Prodani
  5. Gjergj Leka
  6. Dilan Reka
  7. Mirud
  8. Soni Malaj
  9. Jonida Maliqi
  10. Elton Deda
  11. Elona Islamaj
  12. Klodiana Vata
  13. Klint Çollaku
  14. Artemisa Mithi dhe Febi Shkurti
  15. Kelly
  16. Bruno Pollogati
  17. Marko Strazimiri dhe Imbro
  18. Lorela Sejdini
  19. Eliza Hoxha
  20. Eranda Libohova
  21. Aurel Thëllimi
  22. Orgesa Zaimi

This running order is for the first night. That will also be the first time that we hear this year’s songs. As ever, we expect lots of screaming divas and plenty of electric guitars… but also renewed vigour and enthusiasm. Last year’s contest managed to produce some top-notch songs that went on to be fan favourites. More modern music videos coupled with a greater variety of genres marked a major step up for the show.

Much like Melfest, Festivali i Këngës 57 will give us clips beforehand, to build excitement for the live performance. We won’t be able to make our top lists before the show, but it will certainly bring more impact to the beginning of Eurovision 2019’s national final season!

Who is your favourite before the shows? What do you expect from this year’s renewed FiK? Any guess on who will win? Tell us in the comment section below!

Dilan Reka’s song is eurodance, something similar to Euphoria (I’ve seen some comments of his regarding to his entry, and he was really excited). I’m a bit worried about him performing 6th, but I suppose he’ll have a better spot in the running order of FiK final. I really think it’s time for Albania to send a modern act with an uptempo song and a dinamic staging. No more outdated guitars and screaming divas, please!!!

They are interviewing the contestants on the morning show Miremengjes Shqiperi on RTSH, can probably see them on YouTube. They do one interview per morning. I think it’s going to be Soni winning, probably Orgesa, Jonida, Dilan, Eranda in the top scoring positions.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year for me too! I attend the final live every year. You can’t imagine how amazing it is to be at the entrance of the FiK venue (Pallati i Kongreseve) and see the Christmas spirit all around with all the lights and decorations. Fortunately December in Tirana is usually cold and dry, therefore adding a special feeling. Just like Sanremo in Italy, most of the people who still attend FiK (yep, mostly older generations), still consider it as a yearly highlight, therefore most of the people dress up. It’s not unusual to see… Read more »

My favorite national selection ever but also the most stressful one because it is difficult to choose the winner as everyone in it deserves the trophy.

Orgesa closing is giving me life! I really cannot wait for FiK (there will be more favorites from FiK than Eseti Laul or Supernova that I am willing to bet on. Last year had a lot of good entries!)
