He changed the United Kingdom’s fortunes at Eurovision by taking his “Space Man” all the way to second place in Torino.

And since then it seems that Sam Ryder only moves in one direction: up.

His path has now crossed with top DJs Sigala and David Guetta, resulting in the feel-good collab and catchy dance track “Living Without You”.

Sigala, David Guetta, Sam Ryder – “Living Without You”

Sam’s vocal ability is already well-established, both on his recent singles and his ever-popular TikTok account. But on this new track, he proves that those talents lend well to a more produced track. Vocal effects and thumping beats give this life, as does the grit and power of his warble. His infectious energy and positivity shines in any genre.

The track features breezy production from Sigala and the modern dance hooks of Monsieur Guetta, making it a perfectly cheery send-off to summer.

“Living Without You” Lyrics

Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you

We ain’t spoken for weeks and
So much has changed (Changed)
I’ve been feelin’ the pieces
But I still can’t find my place

You thought you knew me, well
But there’s one thing I didn’t tell you

I’d rather take the blame ’cause it’s easier than living without you
Without you
Yeah, I hide my head in shame ’cause it’s easier than living without you
Without you
Swallow my pride
And leave all the bad days behind us
Yeah, I’d rather take the blame ’cause it’s easier than living without you
Without you

Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you
Oh
Without you
Without you
Oh
Without you
Without you
(Oh)

Your words, they hurt but
The silence is worse, mm
The past started liftin’
When I said, “Let’s make it work,” alright
So how are you doin’? (How are you doin’?)
Are you sleepin’ at night? (At night)
‘Cause I’ve been awake for days
No, I’m not givin’ up this right, oh, yeah

You thought you knew me, well
But there’s one thing I didn’t tell you (Oh)

I’d rather take the blame ’cause it’s easier than living without you (Without you)
Without you (Without you)
Yeah, I hide my head in shame ’cause it’s easier than living without you (Without you)
Without you (Without you)
Swallow my pride (Swallow my pride)
And leave all the bad days behind us (And leave all the bad days)
Yeah, I’d rather take the blame ’cause it’s easier than living without you (Without you, yeah)
Without you

Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you
Than living without you
Without you (Without you)
Than living without you (Without you)
Without you

I like it, but even if I didn’t I want Sam to have hits to confirm once and for all that the contest doesn’t kill your career in the UK. “Somebody” should have done better than number 77.

Is there nothing Sam can’t do? What a tune! Been playing it on repeat since yesterday. This should easily crack the Top 40 – Sigala and David Guetta pretty much always do.

Wooo giving me lots of summer vibes! And welldone Sam for getting a collaboration with two huge names, wasn’t the direction I’d of imagined him going, but he sure is resonating his new platform in the music industry, well deserved.

Not being a fan of Ryder, I tried to keep an open mind. But I found the vocal nasally and screechy, sorry.

We’ve heard better from all these gentlemen. Glad Sam’s career continues to rise. He’s a class act and deserves all the success.
