Lithuania continues its search for Eurovision 2024 entry with Eurovizija.LT selection. We already saw 4 acts go through to the final and the show continued this Saturday with Heat Three broadcast.
Third show featured 8 talented Lithuanians fighting for a ticket to Malmö. Again only 2 acts made it through to the final – band Shower and duo Pluie de Comètes, which includes last year’s Pabandom iš Naujo finalist Justė Kraujelytė.
Again the show was presented by Gabrielė Martirosian and Nombeko Augustė Khotseng. They were assisted by a TikToker Nerijus Trilikauskas who interviewed artists from the green room.
The result was determined by both the public and a jury, who each accounted for 50% of the score. Among the jury members were the songwriter and composer of Lithuanian entry at Eurovision 2018 – Vytautas Bikus, performer Ieva Narkutė, LRT producer Kristupas Naraškevičius, composer Jievaras Jasinskis and LRT show host Gerūta Griniūtė.

I would have had Anzela and Baltos Varnos clearly through here. Last year I thought Juste’s song was a total earworm, but this one feels like a weird goof.
I can help but think MeidÉ was far more interesting than both qualifiers. None of these are contenders to Silvester, though.
Each semi final is getting worse and worse in terms of the results. I wonder now if The Roop and Monika Marija will be able to advance with such ridiculous votings.

Even tho there was nothing groundbreaking in this semi, I still feel like this was the strongest in terms of quality
As with Zalvarinis, Shower dissapointed me with their live performance. I stick with Anzela and either Mary Mo or Sid Hallow.
I think I would be happy with any 2 out of “Paskub?k” “Zoo” and “In the night.” I don’t think I could narrow it down further myself.

Ok, so Mary Mo was decent and interesting, but I wished for her to give more energy. It felt like the song demanded to be screamed and she was saving her tones a bit. Maybe, maybe an advancer for the Final.
I think Mary Mo is a better rapper than a singer. And this song is a little too reliant on a power vocal

I think so
So far, Anzela seems to be the only one deserving the Final. I expect the second spot be taken by Mary Mo or Shower, but it will depend on live performances.
Idk I liked Meid? as well. It was vibey and the subject matter was interesting.
Each to their own, I guess. To me, it was one of the most cringe performances tonight. I don’t mind folklore elements in modern pop, but damn it was out of order. It feels like there is a general trend this year: either go-ABBA or go full-black witchery-folklore-darkish. Pass. I bet the winner in Malmo will be something classy within the circus we are about to receive.
Juste Kraujelyte aka Comets has lost all the credibility of her talents. Why so many various effects in less than 3 minutes? It was a disturbing performance.

Ok loving this vibe. “Zoo” is the kind of quirky vibey song I’ve come to expect from Lithuania.
“Here We Go Again” is honestly just this side of bland and inoffensive. There are some interesting ideas, but it’s not my taste.
