You’ve had a few days to listen to, digest, debate, and comment on the 12 songs competing to represent Greece at Eurovision 2025. And oh boy do y’all have opinions. With that in mind, it’s time to ask you once and for all: Who should win Greece’s national selection and sing at Eurovision 2025?

Poll: Who should win Greece’s national selection for Eurovision 2025?

Scrolling through our news post listing the acts, there was a great debate about whether this is a quality selection.

Poul was upbeat: “Greek final lineup and songs are good overall. Quite half of the songs are catchy and interesting. Then, it’s the vocals, performance and staging to decide the winner. Good luck, Greece! Good job!”

Kosey was slightly less enthusiastic: “I am getting 7/10 vibes from this selection. A few songs will do alright and possibly get a top 10, but nothing really stands out to me, indeed quite a few tracks felt a bit same-y, a bit more musical diversity would have been nice. There are also a couple of big misses unfortunately.”

A huge talking about is Klavdia. In the comments of our reaction video, there’s real pride among many Greek fans who think the song captures their musical traditions and culture like no other.

Alex said: “This song is Greece! The sound, the emotions, the tradition, the way that she delivers the song and of course the meaning… It’s about the unbreakable bond between the motherland and the estranged, the strength and the burden to be far away but never forget your roots.”

Writing on our web site, reader Whoisit warned that appealing to a domestic audience doesn’t always signal a strong act for Eurovision. They wrote: “The shock Greek Eurofans will get when Klavdia flops badly in Eurovision. Remember: your taste is really different than Europes. And then we ll get one more year of “you dont like greek songs”. Barbs, Xannova and Evangelia have much better chances in Eurovision.”

Philippa, a Eurovision fan in Italy, disagrees with that assessment. Writing under our YouTube reaction, she said: “Greece must send this masterpiece. She is an amazing singer with such a beautiful and emotional voice. From the first moment I heard it, she spoke deep into my soul. Good luck to klavdia from Italy.”

But what do YOU think? Vote in our poll below. You can vote for as many songs as you’d like, but you can only vote one time. Be sure to click the box next to every artist you want to support before pressing submit.

Evangelia’s song is one of the same songs that Greece and Cyprus sent almost every year. Klavdia is by far more original and great that she is singing in Greek.

We’ve seen experiments like Klavdia from many countries. All failed. Greece, don’t do this mistake. Evangelia is the only option in reality

Yeah which experiments? We need to take the overal quality / production / vocal delivery / lyrics / stage presence into consideration. Which “experiment” ticked all those boxes but failed?

Evangelia’s previous Eurovision submissions for Greece are all incredible, however, Vale is one of her weaker songs. I want to see Evangelia represent Greece and win Eurovision, but Vale isn’t a winning song.

Klavdia should represent Greece, she really came out of nowhere and surprised everyone in Greece. I just hope that Evangelia’s potential loss won’t knock her love for Eurovision, she needs to come back with a strong, winning song.

Totally agree! I mean why shouldn’t Evangelia come back with a stronger song next year?
Look at Eleni Fouriera, how lucky she was NOT to represent Greece back in 2010 and instead come back for Fuego!

Klavida’s song but not appeal to everyone’s taste, but it stands out and this can’t be bad.

Klavdia is my favourite with Evangelia a close second. These are by far my favourites of this selection, and its surprising to me to see others agree, because usually I don’t tend to like the songs that others like!

none of these… unfortunately the judges turned down better singers and songs than those which is not fair. all 187 should be available to people to vote because they don’t seem to do their job as the should.

It might be just me, but I feel countries without renowned NFs such as Sweden or Italy, usually create a better impression on listeners when they internally select their entries, even when the shortlist is not as bad as in this case. Or maybe it is just that Marina set very high standards for the country last year.

I’d rather Sweden chose its act internally tbh

No fun without NFs. In Sweden it’s a tradition and big music event so it will probobly never happen to choose internally. I think that one thing is really wrong about internally chosen songs. The first thing we get is a nice music video and studioversion of the songs and we never now how it will transfer to the stage. Many songs have failed in the end over the years. And I can’t say that Sweden and Italy have failed lately..

Here is clearly a 2 woman race between Evangelia and Klavdia. It will come down to the live performances.

How is Klavdia horrible? Are we both listening to the same song? Look her up, she’s got incredible vocals and performances. There’s so much depth in Asteromata. You sound like you have discarded it all ignorantly. Look her up.

Klavdia is the best choice for Greece, a very atmospheric and melodic song (and sung in Greek which is also a plus). I hope she gets to represent them in Basel. She could really get pushed from the juries if she makes it to the final, not sure about televote though.
