Italy is about to crown a new Sanremo champion at the grand final of the festival’s 2025 edition.

During a week of events, 29 performers have been competing for the hearts of the Italian public and press. They’ve also won over many of our international readers, who have been sharing their thoughts on which singer should emerge victorious.

A total of 2,420 votes were cast in our poll. Now, it’s time to reveal the results.

Giorgia is a favourite to win Festival di Sanremo 2025

It’s women on top, with two female artists being the big favourites in this poll. But the one that pulled ahead to clinch the title of our readers’ favourite act is none other than Giorgia.

The star has captivated audiences with her powerful ballad, “La cura per me.” She earned 369 votes, which is 15.25% of the total.

Girogia goes into the grand final on a high after securing first place during Friday’s cover night. She also knows what it takes to win the whole thing, having previously picked up the trophy in 1995. Can Giorgia keep the Sanremo winning formula going in 2025? Our readers hope so.

Elodie has long been a top pick amongst the international audience as a singer they want to see at Eurovision. Once again in 2025, she emerges as a strong favourite.

The star serves class and elegance with her Sanremo 2025 entry “Dimenticarsi alle 7.” She was the only other act to receive more than 300 votes (or even 200 votes) in our poll, securing 12.81% of all those cast.

Sadly, having not made it into the top five of the rankings on any night of the festival so far, it seems unlikely that Elodie will win the contest. But she’s earned many new fans in the process.

The boys enter the chat from third place onwards. Fedez, Achille Lauro and The Kolors complete the top five.

Forget about possible results in May, even is she came 25th, Giorgia would be a great choice. I don’t want Italy to dumb down just for votes. They don’t even need to worry about qualifying, so it’s all good.

Fedez would be an excellent choice and make a big impression in ESC. I’m hopeful he will pull through.

She is a great singer, great voice but I fear her song wouldn’t work miracles, and wouldn’t stand out enough in Eurovision…but maybe I’m wrong.

I’m sure most people here is not giving a f*** that she “wouldn’t stand out enough in Eurovision” because well, Sanremo is not the qualification to Eurovision. It’s an Italian music celebration and more prestigious than Eurovision thought most demographic divisions.

After a week of following Sanremo I have finally formed my top 3 according to the songs I listened to the most:

1. Rose Villain – Fuorilegge
2. Fedez – Battito
3. Rkomi – Il ritmo delle cose

Nevertheless I like many more songs. To name more than a few: Francesco G a b b a n i, Joan Thiele, Tony Effe, Noemi, Modà, Elodie, Brunori Sas, Olly, Achille Lauro. Sanremo never disappoints!
