Mama Teresa, Diva Maria, and Jerry Heil & Alyona Alyona! All iconic, and we are so excited to welcome the latter two to the London Eurovision Party 2025 to perform their Eurovision 2024 entry about powerful women! The duo went to Malmö in 2024 and walked away with the bronze, coming 3rd place. Not bad at all for an act having to perform in the tricky 2nd slot in the running order!

They picked up masses of fans along the way last year, and this year they make their LEP debut! Where they weren’t able to come last year, we’ve made sure LEP-goers get to see the amazing pair live.

Don’t forget you can still get your London Eurovision Party 2025 tickets here. Tickets to the event at Here at Outernet on April 13th are selling fast so make sure to grab them before they’re all gone. You can see many fan favourites from this year and several iconic past year acts like Jerry Heil & Alyona Alyona and Kaleen! We have more really exciting special guests to announce shortly too, you won’t want to miss it!

Who are Jerry Heil & Alyona Alyona?

Jerry Heil & Alyona Alyona are a Ukrainian collaboration formed a while before their Eurovision 2024 entry “Teresa & Maria”. It is an ode to powerful women through history, with two saints as the song’s namesake. Jerry Heil had tried to represent Ukraine a couple of times before. In the first attempt, she had a more quirky entry about being vegan, with a more sombre entry in 2023 in “When God Shut The Door”. Alyona Alyona had never entered national final Vidbir before, but had a profilic rap career in Ukraine.

As I mentioned before, they weren’t formed immediately before this song. Their first joint effort was Ridni moji in 2022. The single went Top 10 in Ukraine, with follow ups tracks Chomu? and Kupala having similar success. They continued working together, even releasing a song with Lithuania’s 2022 participant Monika Liu titledDai Boh which also charted in Ukraine.

When Jerry and Alyona were announced as a participant in Vidbir 2024, fans knew something special was coming. “Teresa & Maria” was released and everyone was certain this was it, Ukriane had their entry. They were right to think so, with the entry winning the show by a mind-blowing margin of votes. They had 723,297 teelvotes compared to Yaktak’s 107,297 in 2nd with the public.

At Eurovision itself, they had huge success again, coming 3rd in the competition, despite performing in the dreaded 2nd position in the running order. Their colossal result has shown the curse around 2nd can be destroyed, and proven the myth wrong about running order. Their 453 points was a remarkable achievement, even more so when you see that 307 of those came from the public vote.
