Although we’re officially into the Eurovision 2026 season, it will still be some time before we hear any national final and Eurovision songs. Thankfully, the music will always continue and a number of Eurovision artists are still producing new songs for us to enjoy.

Contrary to the commonly perpetuated myth about the song contest killing careers, we’re always thrilled to report that singers associated with Eurovision are thriving.

Here is our latest weekly roundup with a selection of the songs released recently by Eurovision stars.

New music from Eurovision artists: 2025 | Week 42 part 2

With so many new songs this week, we’ve split the roundup into two smaller articles. You can find part 1 here.

Theo Evan – “Better Days”

This year’s Cypriot representative, Theo Evan, is ready to take the spotlight once again. His newest pop song feels like a heartfelt prayer for better days — a journey through growth, self-reflection, and the hope for renewal. The cinematic music video complements the message perfectly, filled with elegance, breathtaking scenery, and a spark of hope that runs through it all.

The chorus captures the song’s emotional essence: “Oh, the writing on the wall it says / I’m running out of time and need to change my ways. / So I get down on my knees and pray, / For a little bit of guidance to find better days. / Better days…”

Angelina Mango – caramé

The young Italian star Angelia Mango, who represented Italy in last year’s Eurovision edition, is back with a brand-new album. Its title, caramé, plays with words — it instantly evokes “caramel,” something sweet and comforting, yet when split into “cara me” it translates to “dear me,” revealing a personal and introspective layer.

The album blends energy and emotion: upbeat tracks like “7Up” bring a lively spark, while others, such as “come un bambino” (“like a child”) and “mylove”, dive into deeper, poetic reflections on growth, maturity, and self-discovery. There’s also a standout collaboration with Madame — familiar to Eurovision fans from Festival di Sanremo — on the song “ioeio” (“I and I”), completing an album that feels both intimate and empowering.

Eleni Foureira & ARCADE – “Alleluia”

Eleni became a legend in the Eurovision scene with her unforgettable performance for Cyprus in 2018. This week, she releases the ultimate electronic pop club banger in collaboration with ARCADE, who delivers a flawless production mix. The track also features a gospel choir from America, adding even more power and depth to the sound. The song is a perfect reminder of Eleni’s outstanding vocals and stage charisma. It also marks the first single from her upcoming album, Hybrid, which promises a diverse collection of songs — each with “their own DNA.”

Zdob și Zdub represented Moldova in Eurovision three times: 2005, 2011, and 2022. If last time they took us on a train journey with their Eurovision hit “Trenulețul,” this time they’re ready to take us on a horse ride through the city centre. Their newest ethnic-rock track, “No Way to Buy Some Luck,” draws inspiration from Moldavian folk stories, songs, sayings, and cultural symbols. The same creative team behind their last Eurovision entry also worked on this music video, so expect another humorous, story-driven visual. Why a horse this time? Because the horseshoe is a traditional Moldavian symbol of luck. The lyrics explore the theme of fortune and how no one can truly buy their own luck in life.

The song opens like a folktale: “On Sunday I went to the fair / To buy some luck for my life / How can I say — it has to be / Fitting, cheap, and good.” Later, the main character admits he already has enough bad luck “to fill a whole old shed.” The song also playfully comments on wasting money: “I spent my money on all sort of things — / Wine, women, and gems / But when the fair was closing down / I finally found luck in town / And what a pity — / The wind was blowing through my pockets bare / For my good luck, as you may guess / I didn’t have a coin.”

The music video tells the story of a man whose girlfriend leaves him for a French man (hence the Napoleon references), leading him on a chaotic quest to win her back — a series of comical misfortunes that make everyone believe he’s truly cursed with bad luck. But there’s a plot twist waiting at the end. This release also marks the band’s 30th anniversary, and with a new album on the way, fans are already wondering if Zdob și Zdub might return to the Eurovision stage once again.

About the inspiration of their new music video, the band said:

“True passionate love works wonders, but sometimes it pushes people to do crazy things. The lyrical heroes of poems, novels, songs, plays, and films throughout human history have moved mountains, crossed seas, plucked stars from the sky, defeated enemies and dragons, conquered princesses – all for love and in the name of love.”

MELOVIN – “просто лети”

MELOVIN competed for Ukraine in 2018. This week he releases a soul-stirring ballad titled “Just Fly.” The song carries a deeply personal message about finding the strength to ignite your own light and having the courage to spread your wings. With its unmistakably Eastern European sound, the track radiates authenticity, while the Ukrainian lyrics add a layer of poetic melody. The music video is intentionally minimalistic, allowing the spotlight to fall entirely on MELOVIN’s emotional delivery and expressive performance.

Ycare feat. Lara Fabian – “Dans mes bras”

Lara represented Luxembourg in 1988. This week she joins forces with Ycare, featuring on a new version of his composition, “In My Arms.” The result is an emotional duet that perfectly blends power, delicacy, and heartfelt emotion. Their voices intertwine beautifully, complementing each other in a truly moving way.

Originally released a few months ago as a solo by Ycare, this new duet version with Lara has been warmly received by fans — a true anthem of love that feels both timeless and sincere.

Anxhela Peristeri – “Mjegull ne Tiranë”

Anxhela represented Albania in 2021. This week, she releases “Fog in Tirana,” a heartfelt ballad infused with traditional Albanian influences. The song tells the story of breakups and the memories that continue to haunt the streets of Tirana. Accompanied by an emotional, story-driven music video, the track pulls you even deeper into its message, allowing you to fully feel Anxhela’s pain. You can watch it here.

The lyrics plead for one last kiss — a goodbye kiss — but that final touch only makes the farewell even more painful.

Anxhela said that her newest song is: “A story born of emotion, covered by memories and turned into music.”

Andrei Ursu – “A cui e vina”

Andrei represented Romania in 2022, under the stage name WRS. This week, he returns with “Whose fault is it?” The song is, according to Andrei, one of the most emotional songs he has ever written, and with this new release he keeps the retro style he adopted in his recent music style, making the track one of those songs meant to mend your soul. The lyrics speak about two lovers falling apart: Mine? yours?/ Whose fault is it? That we drifted apart/ That we loved each other at first/ Then along the way we lost each other/ I want to be the way we were.”

About the meaning of his newest track Andrei explained:

“It may seem sad, but it has a happy ending. When we go through hard times in a relationship, then you seem to appreciate the person next to you even more. That’s what ‘Whose Fault Is It?’ is about.”

Monokate – “Пахнеш”

Monokate, known by her real name Kateryna Pavlenko, is the lead vocalist of the Ukrainian band Go_A, who were initially selected to represent Ukraine in Eurovision 2020 before returning in 2021. This week, she brings a mesmerising trip-hop track titled “You Smell Like,” blending electronic textures reminiscent of Massive Attack with orchestral drama that evokes the cinematic allure of Lana Del Rey. Monokate’s unique voice infuses the song with emotional depth and fragility.

The song is a poetic love confession, with lyrics such as: “You smell like/ Love/ You smell like/ Love/ And the dark waves from your head will fall on your shoulders/ And no matter how much you look/ The emptiness scares/ But I’ll give you the world/ Where everyone will know/ That you left your mark on me/ And I was able to fly.”

The track serves as the first release from her upcoming album Половина мене (Half of Me), set to drop on 24 October.

Samanta Tīna – NEPATEIKTAIS

Samanta was initially selected to represent Latvia in 2020, when the contest was cancelled due to the pandemic, and she returned in 2021. This week, she treats us to a brand-new album featuring eight songs in Latvian. The album, whose title means The Untold, takes listeners back to the roots of Latvian music, blending tradition, storytelling, and songs that feel like modern mantras. You’ll also hear collaborations with various choral groups, adding to the richness of the soundscape. The album is an enchanting journey through Latvian cultural heritage, and one of its highlights is the duet with Rihards Zalupe, “Kur ir tava sirds” (“Where Is Your Heart?”) — a moving musical dialogue about love, longing, and pain.

About her new album, Samanta said:

“(The album) will be a journey closer to ourselves, in which to look even deeper into ourselves – on things, emotions, people, events or words in our lives that have remained unsaid, unforgiven or unfinished in situations known to us|. All of this doesn’t stop us from moving forward.  From the upcoming album together with Rihard Zalupi, through songs, power mantras and stories, I will share my experience of what has made me to know long-served grudges, helped me to see and admit mistakes in oneself, how to take the first step when the scars are still healing, to freedom, to joy, to acceptance. This will be my deepest and most open journey, which I will share with you. Someone may understand it, someone may not, but with someone it will completely resonate. I don’t know what this trip will be, but for me it will definitely be a very special, candid, personal that I am ready to share!”

Intars Busulis, Laima Vaikule, Jānis Stībelis, & Normunds Rutulis – “Mans Draugs”

Also from Latvia, we have an anthem about friendship, created by several artists, including Intars, who represented the country in 2009. He collaborated with Laima Vaikule and two former contestants from Latvia’s national selection, Jānis Stībelis and Normunds Rutulis, to release “My Friend.”

The song, accompanied by a simple and cozy music video filmed on the beach that keeps the focus on the lyrics, speaks about how friendships evolve in adulthood and the longing to reunite with those who have taken different paths in life: “If we are – free like birds in the sky/ The winds of the world will carry us away/ But in a moment a voice/ On the sea shore will call/ The soul will hear it/ The longing will take us home/ I know we will see again someday my friend.”

Irama feat. Achille Lauro – “Arizona”

Achille Lauro is the Italian artist who represented San Marino in 2022. This week he collaborated with Irama, known for his numerous participations in Festival di Sanremo and as one of the Italian artists Eurovision fans would love to see at the contest in the future.

Their newest song is sensual, speaking about a snake woman, pure desire, and addictions: “The snake’s pupils / Her forked tongue / She doesn’t want to go to bed / She wants to swallow the puma alive / (…) She wants me, she’s on me like a cobra.” The track perfectly captures the heat of a romantic rendezvous, with the two artists delivering tension, passion, and sin: “Two bodies in a motel, a mirror / Do you want to come with me to hell? / Total black, it’s sex, it’s fire / Yes, dinner is served.”

Elisa – “Serenata Do Norte”

Elisa was supposed to represent Portugal in 2020 when the contest was cancelled due to the pandemic. Her newest song, “Northern Serenade,” is an acoustic track with a crystal-clear voice. The song is a cover, originally released in 2021 by Miguel Araújo, and brings a cozy, warm vibe perfect for this season.

Mauro Lusini feat. Gianni Morandi – “Sulla Ruota del Tempo”

Back to Italy, we have the Italian legend Gianni Morandi, who represented his country in 1970. This week, he teams up with the music veteran Mauro Lusini to release “On The Wheel Of Time.” The two artists bring together the best of a retro vibe with a meditation on the passing of time and the value of life: “The wheel of time is spinning, it’s never stopping.”

Fyr Og Flamme – “Velkommen Til Kongens port”

The duo Fyr Og Flamme represented Denmark in Eurovision 2021. Their newest song, “Welcome to the King’s Gate,” was created as a tribute and support for FC Fredericia, the football club recently playing in the Danish Superliga.

About the reactions received for their football song, the duo said:

“People have been really generally nice in the comments, and it’s especially great to notice that despite being able to put aside their various club affiliations and give us a pat on the back on the way for our new theme song!”

Eye Cue – “Pay The Price”

And we end this week’s round-up with Eye Cue, from North Macedonia, who took part in Eurovision 2018. Their newest song is a very entertaining one, speaking about couple dynamics. Or more precisely, all the things that he can’t do, but at least he tries: “You can’t cook to save your life / But you wash the dishes every night / And you can’t fold a fitted sheet / But it’s kinda cute the way you try.”

Yet, some love stories are worth paying the price, and this one is one of them, deserving to pay even twice the price if necessary: “I’ll pay the price / Whatever it takes for your love / I’ll pay it twice / Whatever it takes for your touch / Through every high and low / There’s nothing better than this.”

Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
