Get ready for the next Junior Eurovision entry. This time we move to Cyprus, which will be represented by a duet for this year’s edition in Tbilisi on 13 December. Rafaella and Christos will perform their heartfelt ballad, “Away.”
Last year, Cyprus was represented by Maria Pissarides with “Crystal Waters,” finishing in 13th place. For 2025, the country is determined to climb the ranks and aim for the top.

Cyprus in Junior Eurovision 2025: Rafaella & Christos with “Away”
Rafaella, 14 years old, comes from Nicosia and has been immersed in the arts since she was 3. With over a decade of stage experience, she excels in singing, dancing, and theatre, having competed and won awards in numerous national and international dance competitions. She has also played roles in musicals such as Annie, Into the Woods, The Greatest Showman, and Hairspray, and she is currently preparing for Musical Theatre at Trinity College London.
Christos, 12 years old and also from Nicosia, is in his first year of high school and passionate about music and live performance. A big Eurovision fan, he sings, plays drums, is trained in dancing, and enjoys basketball. He has performed in school talent shows and cultural events and is slowly beginning his journey as a songwriter.
For both Rafaella and Christos, their JESC entry marks the debut single of their careers.

Cyprus brings a heartfelt ballad this year, performed in both Greek and English, exploring the feeling of getting lost in someone’s eyes and the emotions that come with it.

The lyrics speak about the comfort of being held in the right pair of arms, celebrating those people who make us laugh until we forget our worries, reminding us that everything eventually finds its way.
