Ireland is ready for Junior Eurovision after holding this year’s national pre-selection to choose their representative. Lottie O’Driscoll Murray was selected to compete with a song in Irish called “Rúin.” We will see her performing in Tbilisi on 13 December.
Last year, Ireland was represented by Enya Cox Dempsey with “Le chéile,” finishing in 15th place. Can Lottie bring Ireland its first Junior Eurovision victory?

Ireland in Junior Eurovision 2025: Lottie O’Driscoll Murray with “Rúin”
Lottie is 14 years old and was born in Cork, now living in Shanakiel with her family. Music has always been a big part of her life, thanks to her mother Céline, grandmother Charlotte, and grandfather Jim O’Driscoll, who was a member of the band Delta 2.
The stage feels like home to her, and she has performed in many charity events in Cork, appeared on the Late Late Toy Show, and sang at the Cork Opera House. Her musical inspirations include Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Lyra, and Cian Ducrot.
In her free time, Lottie enjoys spending time with friends, going to the mall and the cinema, and she is also a fan of Gaelic football and hurling.
What do the “Rúin” lyrics mean?
Lottie’s Junior Eurovision entry is a powerful ballad, and its English title would be “Secrets.”
The song is about the people we feel close enough to share our hearts with. It speaks to the idea that life has its ups and downs, but when we open up to someone we trust, understanding and support make everything easier to face and overcome.
