After the success of her first solo single “ko je ovde ko“, Sara Jovanovic didn’t keep her plans to release a new single in September a secret. But what we didn’t know was that her new single “Provokacija” (provocation in English) would be included on the soundtrack to a new Serbian movie, “Mali Budo”. The music video was filmed this weekend on the streets of Belgrade in the style of a flash mob and the audience loved it — we can see why!

The new single is purely acoustic, something we haven’t seen from Sara before. It is significantly more chilled out than “ko je ovde ko”, which saw Sara Jo bend and twerk. The heavy accordions and violins are typically Serbian, but it’s far from typically Sara! Toe tappingly catchy, “Provokacija” compliments Sara’s versatile voice while capturing the light hearted nature of “Mali Budo”.
