Madrid is the latest addition to the Eurovision pre-party circuit. And it’s also the last stop on this year’s tour, giving many acts a final chance to wow an international crowd before heading to Kyiv. Our friends at Eurovision-Spain are organizing the blowout and on Friday they announced the final line-up. The list is long and it’s filled with plenty of favourites — so get ready to take note!
Nineteen participants will sing in Madrid’s Sala La Riviera on April 15, including fan favourites Blanche, Robin Bengtsson and Kristian Kostov. Spain’s very own Manel Navarro will also attend to welcome fans and his fellow contestants.
Madrid’s party will also feature some beloved stars from past editions of the contest.
Last year’s Spanish representative Barei will “Say Yay!” to the festivities. And Eurovision 2014 diva extraordinaire Ruth Lorenzo will host the show. Yes, she’s not only performing her Eurovision entry “Dancing in the Rain” — she’s also the mistress of ceremonies! She flits between Spanish and English better than most (she spent her formative years in Utah), so she’ll be able to flow with the locals and the guests. Work that tongue, mama!

MADRID’S FIRST EUROVISION PARTY – APRIL 15 AT SALA LA RIVIERA
Nestled on the banks of the Manzanares River and surrounded by magical gardens and parks, Sala La Riviera has a capacity of 1,800. That’s about 18 times bigger than the stage was for Objetivo Eurovisión — just saying!
The party is part of Eurovision-Spain.com’s 16th anniversary celebration – being the most visited Spanish Eurovision site ever. Spanish media including ABC, La Vanguardia, Je Ne Sais Pop, Formula TV and Bluper are already promoting the event. The city is ready to shake. ¡Vámonos!
After the concert, the dance floor will erupt as the DJs drop non-stop Eurovision music. Don’t forget your dancing shoes.
The show starts at 22:00 CET, but you can arrive beforehand as doors will be open from 21:00 CET.
WARM UP: EUROVISION-SPAIN PRE-PARTY ON FRIDAY
Yes, you read that right. The Pre-Party isn’t just a one-day party. Eurovision-Spain.com has taken it to another level by including a warm-up event the night before.
That’s why on Friday the 14th there will be a Welcome Party in Joy Eslava in Madrid. Up to ten artists from Spain – all related to Eurovision – will hit the stage and open this big Eurovision celebration.
Among the confirmed stars are Brequette, Fruela, Javi Soleil, Maika Barbero and Mey Green (backing vocalist for Spain’s 2012, 2013 and 2014 entries). They will sing their hits to a joyful and excited audience.

Tickets for both parties are still available. For the Welcome Party (April 14) you can purchase your ticket right here at a price of 15 euros. For the Eurovision Spain Pre-Party (April 15), the only tickets still available are the general ones which have a price of 30 euros and can be purchased here, or in person in every Correos or Agencias de Viajes El Corte Ingles office.
