Earlier this week he recorded his Eurovision 2017 postcard in multiple locations around Lisbon, showcasing some of the capital’s most picturesque sights.
And while Salvador Sobral is clearly prepared and ready for the competition, he’s been forced to delay his trip to Kyiv owing to ongoing health issues.
Speaking during an RTP news bulletin on Sunday, the “Amar Pelos Dois” singer revealed that he’ll arrive in Kyiv on May 7 — just two days before the first semi-final, which takes place on May 9.
As a result, his sister Luísa Sobral — who also wrote the song — will fly the Portuguese flag during the first two rehearsals, presumably critiquing the LEDs and staging, and getting a sense of the sound in the arena to share with her brother. Salvador will only attend the dress rehearsals and run-throughs.
As ESC Portugal reports, the Portuguese delegation has managed the situation and tonight’s news is not coming as a surprise. They have been in talks with the EBU, who have agreed to the arrangements.
His sister will attend the scheduled press conferences and meet-and-greets on his behalf. And given the relatively simple staging he had at the Portuguese national final, it seems he won’t have that much to worry about when it comes to nailing choreography or camera angles. The strength of his stage show stems from his quirkiness and the simplicity of his performance — and arriving late isn’t going to impact that.
Salvador’s health has been a topic of discussion ever since he had surgery to repair two hernias before the final of Festival da Canção.
Tabloids subsequently made big claims about an alleged heart condition, which Salvador’s team denied at the time.
Ana Paulo, Salvador’s manager, previously told Jornal de Notícias that the claims about Salvador’s cardiac problems were utterly false.
“I have nothing more to say about that,” she said, explaining that he is doing well. “He is recovering well from hernia surgery. Eurovision is not at risk and neither is Salvador’s career. Almost every single concert is sold out.”
However, tonight’s news report did make mention of a heart condition. The bulletin did not elaborate on the condition, so it’s unclear precisely what details from the earlier tabloid reports were untrue.
This much we do know: Salvador’s star has only risen since winning the ticket to Kyiv and he’s rising with the bookies and with fans at home.
RTP will stage an official CD launch event tomorrow in Lisbon. Wiwibloggs will be on the scene to get more information about this evening’s news.
As for now we’re wishing Salvador all the best, as we know our readers are too.

Salvador Sobral is not a little brother, he is an 27 years old MAN, and you should stop crushing his balls.
Well… I don’t know which country you are from, but in Iceland the younger brother will always be the little brother for the elder siblings. And Luisa is some years older than Salvador, I believe. Even though both of them look like teenagers, imo.
So the little brother is second class citizen, has no right to independence, dignity, to start a family, to be respected as a founder of a new family?
Will he remain forever the little brother of his big sister?
Bye, Felicia.
Abel eres ruin
She’s just 2 years older than him
How a sister helping his brother in a contest when he has an health condition is “crushing his balls”?. Damn, he can’t receive any support from anyone, a person has to thrive lonely in this world… -.-‘
So much melodrama…
So, wiwibloggs just uploaded today’s interview with Luisa Sobral. She confirmed she will do the first two technical rehearsals because they figured out 2 weeks would be too much for Salvador to be away from his medical team. So, this way, he will only have to be away from Portugal for one week.
She could step on a stool or another platform of some kind, or wear heels that bring her to Salvador’s height. She probably knows her brother’s body language during the song well enough to replicate it during rehearsals, so the height thing is easier to solve.
I think will be here mainly for scenery, colors and lights, etc. And she probably also knows by now how Salvador likes his sound balanced through the in-ears. If Salvador isn’t able to be there in the first days, her first presence might be crucial.
* I think she will be there (…) her presence might (…)
Firstly, I wish Salvador the best and a swift recovery.
That being said, I hope he cuts his hair. That ponytail looks awful.
Looking at some of his older pictures, he’s actually quite good looking with short hair.
Long hair suits him better imo
This pair’s relationship deserves to be filmed. Best wishes to Salvador!

Best wishes for his recovery! <3
So you are like the mamma from that Moldavian song.
Yep, no shame in my game… 🙂
First of all, I wish Salvador all the best and may he overcome his health issues. Knowing a bit more now about his serious health condition makes me appreciate and understand more his quirkiness and fragility on stage. As of some of the comments about Luisa, I have to say that she is acting like any big sister would, including myself. I’m like a mama bear with my younger brothers and would do everything and anything for them. My brothers say exactly the same thing about me: that I’m overbearing and controlling at times, but we love each other very… Read more »
That’s really it! Thanks for explaining it in a way that everyone can understand!
You’re very welcome 🙂
True dat. If I had a little brother with those health issues, damn right I would be overprotective as well.
Good to see someone explained the Latin culture! 🙂 Me being half-Latina it’s the same thing with my brothers, just that I’m the little one and they’re +10 years older heheh… but I still feel the need that if they need anything, I’d do the impossible to help them.
Salvador said about his sister that she is overbearing.
Living full Eurovision experience might be good for him.
The sister is the boss and their fans can’t hide that.
It’s ugly to do what you’re doing. Put yourself in Luisa’s place for a moment and imagine having someone like you commenting about something he has no knowledge about the way you are commenting, demonizing her.
You’re becoming ridiculous.
I’m a fan of Eurovision and I can’t hear Salvador speaking in interviews because she speaks all the time, and Salvador is like an ornament for her. I say what I see.
@ Abel… OMG. This is a tremendous falsehood, Salvador has never been prevented from speaking, the harmony between the two is perfect.
Well, Abel… that’s because you only saw a couple of the interviews he has done. He has done several interviews alone already, inlcuding one for wiwibloggs, one for RTP, one for El Pais (spanish biggest newspaper), one for the TV Show 5 Para A Meia Noite, just to name a few. And, maybe, that’s him who’s deciding to have her present, because, maybe, he wants people to know she is the one responsible for the song. Afterall, they are brother and sister.
If you don’t have a fking good thing to say FTFO of here. You’re just a covered hater.
GTFO*
The comments here are like: “It’s not my favorite song, so I don’t care if he dies”.
Welcome the EuroVision spirit in your heart…
If you are referring to me, then you should know that I will be sad if he dies. I wish him a full recovery from the bottom of my heart. I just don’t really care if he attends the rehearsals or not.
Most importantly, get well soon Salvador!
Amar Pelos Dois has really grown on me recently (although I’ve always loved it) and I wish it would get the best score for Portugal (like Poli did for Bulgaria in 2016 and hopefully Kristian will do this year)
Beautiful voice, stunning song and lyrics, so simple and incredible
As well, good luck to Portugal and of course good luck to all participants and I wish us a happy and great Eurovision party ?
I bet all this…” protecting Salvador’s fragile heart” …was his sister’s idea, but she let him go to Spain to promote his album. This woman already acted like is all about her, so no surprise for me. Ukraine has doctors too, and Salvador will have to travel to Kyiv anyway…if he will travel. Don’t be shocked if he will never step on Ukrainian soil.
When you don’t know something for sure, please try not to be so cynical. Stop trying to create something out of nothing. If he went earlier to Kyiv, he would have to face the usual stressful technical rehearsals, interviews and press conferences of the week before the semi finals. He had two surgeries and if the heart condition is true, it’s better he avoid as much stress as he’s able to, so that he healthy enough to face the dress rehearsals, the juri rehearsal and the semi final show. Stop the unnecessary hate. You talk about artists like they are… Read more »
I bet that you have no clue what you’re talking about!!! All your comments are negative and personal, are you always this bitter??? There are pills you can take or things you can smoke that will help with that, just saying….
Abel. STOP. You are sick!
If she wanted it to be all about her, she would’ve sung the damn song herself.
Abel?!… OMG! You know so much about Luísa and Salvador that you ended up forgetting that you are a nasty piece of work, without a life! That is why you are so bitter! Get a life! Salvador and Luísa are (besides the fact od being bro & sis) best friends! Gosh… it takes far more effort to be a nasty bugger than a nice person.
I don’t care, to be honest. His song is my least favorite of the year.
“I don’t like the song so artist can die for all I care, hur dur. Even better if that happens. Only my opinion matters hur dur.”-a pathetic idiot aka you
I never said I want him to die. I never said only my opinion matters either. I wish him a full recovery. I just don’t really care if he will attend the rehearsals or not. That’s all. You are creating drama out of nothing.
attends*
I have a strong fealing it’s gonna be between Portugal and Bulgaria, Italy and Sweden in top 5.
Same! See my longer comment on this below. Basically, I think it’s going to be between Portugal and Italy with Bulgaria and Sweden rounding up the top 4.
I hope you can be in the final (France is in semi 2) so that my country can give you some points, we have a strong portuguese community. But most importantly take care of your health. :3
Yes. The first semi final is tough. It would help Portugal to have France voting in SF1, since France and Switzerland are the countries that almost always notice that Portugal exists in Eurovision x) We hope Spain, Italy and the UK are nice to Portugal. All things considered, it is not that bad that Portugal can count with the UK and Spain, since they also have a history of giving votes (even though, not always) for Portugal. I just hope Portugal is capable of captivating all the countries and doesn’t need to rely on its “friends”.
His goddamned big headed sister is really starting to piss me off. To get his acoustics right they need a male singer and not a higher pitched female voice. She practically answers all of his questions for him in interviews and is going to probably steal his place in Eurovision.
Luísa (his sister) chose him to sing her song at Festival da Canção. She could have sung it. She chose her brother because she thought that song fitted him better. She loves her brother more than probably anyone else. She’s just worried about his health condition and she may look overprotective but all she’s trying to do is reduce the stress and pressure on her brother due to his cardiac issues. Believe me, Salvador will sing at Eurovision and he’ll slay.
He’ll be there for 3 rehearsals before the live show. Relax, please. And maybe she talks more because she is an experienced artist who has toured around Europe and is used to interviews (and she’s also the brain behind the song and lyrics). Maybe, just maybe, he trusts his sister enough to let her have her part of the spotlight. Maybe, just maybe, he wants to share the spotlight with her. Maybe, just maybe, he wants to be able to live this experience with his sister (especially if he ends up winning). And maybe, just maybe, he’s really sick (although,… Read more »
@Abel = James =……….. The same sick person.
I’m not James, and you can’t call people names like that. Hope wiwibloggs will read your message.
James, love/hate relationship is a common thing. Yes, one interview of them two was enough for me to get rather exhausted, but on other side I’ve been thinking – he told her straight into her face that she forgot about him, she almost disgraced him talking about love experience. But result is still there – her song has arrived to him 🙂
“he told her straight into her face that she forgot about him…” Affectionate humor very pleasing to the Portuguese.
As much as you comment seems to be motivated by your dislike of the song (I apologize if I am making a wrong assumption) that actually crossed my mind too. How can she rehearse for him, if she has a completely different voice?…
Hope he will be ok, HOWEVER, this is the second worst song this year after Montenegro. Is extremely boring I tried so many times to listen to more than 1 minute/listening and I failed every single time. Plus the instrumental reminds me of the music from Tom&Jerry for a reason (maybe because they are both so dated)

well maybe his sister can perform this song with more passion and emotion than he does 🙂
Ouch! 😮
To all those that are thinking this is a strategy or game Portugal is playing… You really don’t get the truth about Portuguese participation in the ESC. RTP would never ever play this kind of games because they don’t want desperately to win. As many of you know Portuguese entries have been mediocre or very average at best. This happens for a reason. Portugal does not care about the ESC as other nations do. And then, Luisa and Salvador Sobral are true artists with full artistic integrity. Luisa full heartily rejected the mere suggestion to write an English version for… Read more »
This is the year of playing cards. Russia started, Ukraine followed, now Portugal, what’s next? Gabbani needs to faint during press conference.
… or come out as gay. just kidding!
Hope the sisters from O’G3NE will not do what Conrad Maass (presenter Eurovision in Concert) suggested, to use their ill mother for staging.
@Edward – Thank you thank you! It’s been a while since I’ve checked in on the odds and the biggest surprise for me is that Belgium has drifted to 5th. I’m not shocked, to be honest, because the live performances didn’t really inspire confidence in her getting a good result in May. Melodically, Blanche’s song is nothing special and it all depends on having a confident live performance in the absence of which the song itself falls pretty flat. Also, the reason I was asking for the odds is because I’m convinced Portugal will now be winning the contest and… Read more »
Very clever comment especially the part on the narrative. As much as I love Portugal’s song I don’t see it winning. The narrative, as you put it, is not complelling enough. Italy’s story about the emptiness of western civilization is a better story. And then there ate the voting patterns. I don’t see Eastern and Northern European nations voting for the song, even the jury let alone the public . I will be very happy if it makes it for top 10, which would be a very good outcome for Portugal.
@Vic – Good point. Italy has a very, very strong narrative as well. And Italy winning would definitely serve EBU’s interest better – it has exponentially more commercial appeal and radio cross-over potential than Portugal. It would fit well with the direction that EBU’s been trying to take Eurovision and it would help bring the contest more exposure and credibility. I guess my theory of Portugal winning is also rooted in Europe loving an underdog, at least in recent years, that has been the clear trend. The last time the pre-contest favorite won the whole thing was with Loreen in… Read more »
One more thing to add on the topic of Italy’s chances of winning: I’m not sure how to interpret the fact that Francesco didn’t win the jury vote (just like Il Volo in 2015) and relied on public votes to get through. This resemblance in voting patterns is the main basis for my prediction that the international juries will flush Italy this year (and by flush, I mean it’ll come in ~5th behind Sweden, Bulgaria, Denmark (Dami Im realness) and France). OR maybe I’m overanalyzing this. Ultimately we won’t know anything until we see staging. Who knows, maybe an entry… Read more »
Hi Martin (Great to discuss this intelligently 😉 ) The fact that Francesco has not won with the jury in San Remo is a very good point and I thing it is revealing that Italy might not win it (very unfortunately, for me personally). I just don’t see the jury going crazy about this song and the combination with the televoting might just no be enough… There is a long tradition of Italian entries that were international hits but did not win the contest and I am afraid that song will join that honourable gallery… My gut feeling (and my… Read more »
Looking to the OGAE 2016 process and final results, It might predict some real turn in the real top of the Eurovision 2017. If you compare the Italy’s Francesco entry with the OGAE 2016 Winner – France’s Amir, Sweden’s Robin with Russia 2016 and Portugal’s Salvador with Ucrain 2016. We can have some Final 3 this year like:
1. Portugal
2. Italy (barely close with Salvador)
3. Sweden
Last OGAE 2016 put the real winner – Ucrain – in 9th place (88 points).
Let’s see the whole process of this year in Eurovision history. 😉
Hold on, Salvador. Stay strong. All the best.
I hope this doesn’t hurt him like it hurt Agnete from Norway last year. Song-wise, it seemed that many people had “Icebreaker” somewhere near the middle of their top lists, so a non-qualification was somewhat surprising. (I didn’t like the song so it wasn’t too shocking for me.) But it does seem plausible that the zero-promotion of the song hurt Norway last year. Now Amor Pelos Dois seems more inconsistently scored in people’s top lists. It seems that people either have this Top 10, or Bottom 5, with not many in the middle. Granted, Salvador has made a few smaller… Read more »
I hope so too. I hope Salvador gets better first for the sake of him and then also so his lovely song could be reaching the finals.
I also hope that the lack of promo tours doesn’t hurt Jacques. I believe he is the only singer this year who didn’t perform live yet. Everyone else either did the tour, national finals, or at least sang live in a clip or tv show. I know he is a great singer, but this vocal maneuvers are something new for him.
“I also hope that the lack of promo tours doesn’t hurt Jacques”
The song does that on its own
IMHO there were other things that hurt Agnete’s chances last year. First of all, the weird pace changes of the song that time to get used to, and the average viewer only gets one listen. Also she struggled with the lowest notes as well as the highest a little bit, and the staging, styling and performance were bland for an uptempo-ish song. In Salvador’s case he just needs to stand or sit there and do his thing. I hope that means he has a better chance.
William, Bernardo or anyone else here: Did the EBU say if he commercial break in the first semi final will be after Portugal perfoms (between 9-10th performances)?
Ty 🙂
Oh God, I hope he’s OK.
I was passing all your comments and I came up with the idea of sharing my opinion of this Portuguese entry by my untouched Youtube comment, but first and strait to the point, I think there’s no plan at all to use the illness and win the ESC, the truth is that when something it’s good to be discuss, the media use that (confidetial) information to spread the polemic mood around an issue. So, if I would be a “bad guy”, I would say that all this “beautifull mess” around Salvador condition will lead Portugal to win. Ahahah Just joking!… Read more »
Beautiful comment, Portugal would be an amazing host!!! Full of history, beachs, etc Amazing Food & Even Better Wine!!!!
Don’t forget Beautiful and Peaceful!!!
And very gay friendly, one might add
I’ve never been so anxious about an Eurovision entry than this year. Really hope he achieves a good result.
I wonder if the EBU couldn’t move Salvador to semifinal 2 and switch spots with the act in his same running order from that semi.
he’d probably win semi-final 2 because it’s clearly the weaker semi and brendan murray will crash even harder in semi-final 1.
if his performance going to be the same as festival cancao, it’s not going to be a problem since he’ll just stand in one spot singing for 3 minutes straight anyway.
but i hope he gets well soon!
I watched the NF performance again and noticed that he never looks to the camera plus he doesn’t even have a choreography so yeah, missing the rehearsals is not a big problem

The Portuguese TV said that he only needs a corner of the stage and that it will be all very simple. Salvador does not even look at the television cameras.
Will try again (previous two messages did not come through). First of all, wish Sal good health! Secondly, literally just today was listening to a podcast on esctips where betters were discunning a potential winner.
So Ewan Spence from ESC Insight claimed six days ago that the only way that Italy does not win this year is… if Salvador does not show up for rehearsals/ interviews and sends his sister instead. This should allegedly steal the spotlight of mass media and get Portugal ahead of Italy.
I heard that podcast as well and I’m shocked that it’s really happening !
I also believe Portugal will have a lot of attention from the press, and together with Bulgaria will be the big threats to Gabbani’s victory
You know my first reaction was: Mr Spence, be careful what you wish for next time. Anyhow, wish Sal lots of health and am interested in any other clairvoyant predictions that esctips is going to drop in the podcast for the second semi
Apparently the information about the heart problems (now confirmed by Portuguese television) was already known from EBU. Salvador always refused to confirm and speak of the subject. But the situation had to be revealed at some point. I hope that there is no much more talk around this subject and that we speak only about the song, by the way beautiful.
Would you be able to provide a link to the Podcast? I’m intrigued now. I don’t think my country has any chances of winning though.
Will he be in place for Jury rehearsals? That’s the big, unmissable one.
Yes, he will 😉
Wishing Salvador the best. 🙂
While my heart goes to him and the Sobrals, the haziness of his condition is somewhat distressing. To him to keep his conditions private, but just tell us you are gonna be good in May.
Wow! I guess that’s why Portugal fell so far in the betting odds!
What are you talking about? Portugal hasn’t fallen at all – check Oddschecker
What are the odds right now? Can’t see from my country
Not to worry. Salvador is a delightful artist that created a magical and heartwarming song with a potential to win the whole thing. The atmosphere will be astonishing and i’m so ready for this ride of emotions.
Amar pelos Dois, my only choice this year! <3 <3 <3
We all remember what happend to Agnete & Norway last year
Consider Agnete’s song and live wasn’t that strong, sorry.
Am I banned or something? My messages are not coming through
It seems I’ve irritated the Wiwiguys so much with my pestering to do a top video that even I’ve gotten sick of it!!
I’ll join you guys next year Wiwi team. Have a great ESC season. Bye 🙂
He has my vote without any doubts!!! Go for gold Portugal!
I’d love to see Portugal win. I think they should have won in 1995 and 2008. But I think this is unprofessional. There’s quite a few days left before the rehearsals left, but he’s already decided he’s going to be ill? This plan has been in place for a while, I think.
Oh God… (eye roll)… He’s not going to be ill. He has a medical condition. Period.
Unprofessional is you intentionally missing out rehearsals to party all day or just slouch and laze around right before you are about to perform in a big venue.
In Salvador’s case, he’s prioritizing his health in order to be at his best condition once he takes part in the semis. There’s nothing unprofessional about this, especially when he will still take part at the dress rehearsal.

….. he has to rest and avoid exhaustion. And EBU has accepted RTP’s request for a reason. The fact that we are knowing it now is because Portugal is doing it in a responsible way and contacted EBU earlier to get an approval, instead of only saying something when rehearsals start. Salvador probably has a doctor who says what is better for him in advance. That’s how it goes. And if the heart condition is true, he really needs to avoid the stress considering he had surgeries.
RTP confirmed Salvador’s heart problems, that were never denied but that he refuses to comment so that this is not an issue, instead of music.
So the rehearsals are optional? I mean if other artists decide they will do just the jury and televote finals will EBU be OK with it? Beacause if it’s mandatory for the others it’s just not fair, if he has health problems he should withdraw not get special treatment
So, according to your logic,Salvador has an advantage for NOT being able to attend the rehearsals due to health problems. Is that is? Whohoo! Special treatment for having almost no chance of knowing ESC stage before juri vote. Oh dear god… Just shoot me now.
Do not waste your words, lacrymea.
Shevek on Wiwi? *faints*
It’s my official debut! Is it yours?
Nope. I think that I’ve left 2 comments over the years. LOL
You do realise that rehearsals are tiring and some artists have complained about it before, but that’s not even the point, the point is everyone should follow the same rules, but i guess it’s too hard for some to understand it
Portugal won’t miss any rehearsal. Salvador will (and only 2 of them). And I think if Salvador (or anyone else, for that matter) had the option to choose between a relevant health condition or being super healthy and able to be in Kyiv for the rehearsals, he (and everyone) would choose the latter.
What is hard to understand is you saying that a person with a condition can’t participate because he isn’t at the same health than other contestants. If we stand by your point ,Russia would be disqualified because she was disabled -.-
Disculpo tu comentario por ignorancia, si no temdria otra calificacion
I don’t doubt about Salvador’s health issues and I know Eurovision is a show, so the way you give information is also part of the competition. It’s OK to know how to play your cards.
Hope all this turns in his favor, I would be really glad to see Portugal wining Eurovision. After so many years having mediocre results they can steal the show in 2017 with a superclassic song.
No chance to Salvador win.
He didn t won televote in his own country 2 time , in semi final (he was only 3rd in semi final I ) and in fnal (he was 2 nd in final)>
Portgual people want and vote for Viva La Diva and their song Nova Gloria (they one televote in semi final 1 and in final)
I’m portuguese. I voted for Salvador. For me, NG was the worst song in FdC. Rules say 50/50. I won. Get over it.
Neither did Robin, but you seem to always “forget” that fact. Gosh, you Sweeds/Sweden lovers are patyetic sometimes.
Nova Gloria was horrible xD Nobody I know understand how they got so many points from the televote. Anyway, they weren’t even top3 in the jury vote, and Salvador was 1st (jury) and 2nd (televote). But votes are not important now. Everyone knows Salvador’s song was the best song in the competition. I mean, only you are trying to make Nova Gloria happen xD They sang baaaaadly!!!! And the 2 guys were just a really bad and sad decision, I’m sorry. The song was dated (unlike Amar Pelor Dois, which is timeless and warm.) Anyway, the polls and bookies speak… Read more »
Please do get over it. I didn’t vote because I never vote for these things, but Amar Pelos Dois was the only great song in the competition. It’s good that we have a jury again or else you and your friends could select those weird divas you seem to like so much. Nice work you did selecting homens da luta as well when there wasn’t a jury to make you come to your senses.
“Portgual”
If Portugal wants an epic song for Eurovision maybe we should send Éder – A Portuguesa (our National Anthem).
Unfortunatelly portuguese people have closed mind, they think that ideal song for Eurovision should be uptempo, epic songs…
He was second in the televote and that’s enough to justify he was a popular choice among the voters that night.
First before their national final , after semi final 1, they told to public that he was hernia health problem and that he go to surgery before final, now before eurovison semi and final he have cardio health problem.
They try so hard to won this year, and wiwibloggs lobby so much for Portugal and some other countries like Bulgaria, France, Italy.
LOL! They lobby for Sweden far more than any other country, so stop crying. You Sweeds/Sweden lovers can’t handle if any other country is mentioned more than once now can you?
I m not from Sweden. I m from country who had not many article, videos or lobbying on this bloggs this year and past years
Your attitude is sad. Stop with the conspiracy. This is not Russia or any other big ESC country for you to be talking about lobbying. He will be there for the last three rehearsals before the semi final. He will only miss two rehearsals. It’s better that he rests and is at his best on the semi final. The supposed heart condition is something he has had for years, nothing new. The hernia surgeries probably caused him to be more susceptible. We don’t want him to get exhausted. And he is a professional who showed he doesn’t need a lot… Read more »
At the moment the homepage features images of Eurovision 2017 stars from Portugal, Germany, Armenia, Russia, Italy, Iceland, Cyprus, Montenegro, Czech Republic and France. This is much more diverse and varied than you suggest and it’s constantly refreshed (like up to 10 times a day in recent days). It’s a bit of a stretch to say our content is Portugal heavy!!! (And there is nothing about Robin Bengtsson on the homepage either!)
Thank you, William 🙂 And let me take this opportunity to thank you and the whole team for having created such a nice community and for the effort and excitement you show in every video and article. You’re just glazed because there are other countries that can be contenders unlike the usual ones. Sad!
He is supposedly a “big favorite”, and misses promo and rehearsals? Mmmm, this is not going to end good for him. I honestly think is a campaign to make him win pity votes due to his “illness”. First hernia, then heart. I find it very suspicious, even fake. And portuguese eurofans this year are behaving like filipino or colombian beauty pageant fans, arguing every single negative opinion towards him or the song and even insulting people, also saying that some of us are “making up a campaign against him” just by saying our opinion. They’re so nuts about winning that… Read more »

I think you’re being too cynical about his health condition. It’s not really proof, but you could notice some lump on his belly, “shrouded” by those non-fitting jackets. He’s a bit shy about being “famous”, because he had a bad experience some years ago, when he participated in a song contest. I actually think he avoided talking about his illness because he didn’t want all that drama associated to him. Ironically, all that secretism just became suspicious.
