Christoph Pellander, the German Head of Delegation, is set to leave his job at NDR. His move will come after two years of helping steer Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest alongside entertainment boss Thomas Schreiber.
From July 1 Christoph will head the editorial and program management department of ARD Degeto — the broadcaster’s common film purchase organisation. It’s a massive player in the German film industry, with a yearly budget of 400 million euros.
“We are happy to have found a creative personality with Christoph Pellander for this important and demanding exercise,” Christine Strobl, the CEO of ARD Degeto, said in a statement. “Due to his longstanding experience as an editor, author and producer, he’s covered the full range of the cinematic experience. In addition, he is very well-connected inside ARD and well-known in the film business.”

Thomas Schreiber, the head of entertainment at NDR, thanked Pellander for his excellent work.
“What an incredible task — Congratulations, dear Christoph! One has to grab such a chance, good luck. We will surely miss you at the Eurovision Song Contest as much as on other projects — but I’m glad to work with you in your new role at Degeto.”
And we will miss you, too! Thank you for your short but entertaining journey as the German Head of Delegation and good luck with your new job. Keep slaying!
Sexy guy
They should finally get rid of Mr. Schreiber…
Seriously, Schreiber needs to go.
It seems that he got a promotion.
