William: Portugal’s Leonor Adrade is a beautiful girl, and her styling was on point during her first rehearsal. She wore a black pleather body suit and black satin wings for good measure. She looks like a bat wearing a condom — but a very high fashion one. Her voice is lovely and she carries the tune brilliantly. Unfortunately she has to use that voice on this song. They could have given the stage performance more texture and dynamism with changing lighting and LED effects. But instead it’s just blue, blue, blue. This is bland and flat, kind of like a wet pancake.

Padraig: Portugal has everything except a good song. Leonor’s delivery was excellent, and I was actually really impressed by the stage show. But the song is simply too forgettable. It’s never had a hook, and one didn’t magically appear today. One of the other acts will have to completely crash and burn if this is to avoid last place.

I am Portuguese and I really don’t think Leonor was bullied by any shape or form. I don’t like the fact that year after year Portugal is bashed for being THE underdog of this competition (and I have been actively following ESC since 1980…). But Portugal and RTP is the one to blame by sending every single year silly or bland songs. Personally, I much prefer Leonor to Suzy, but it is true that this song has no impact whatsoever. And the comment on the bat with a condom should be seen as a joke and is actually quite funny.
This retarded kid deserves something yes… a punch on the middle of the eyes! Who the hell is he to do bullying the girl?

I’m Brazilian and descendant of Portuguese. I observe Eurovision songs since last year’s contest. The song may not be appealing to people outside the Portuguese-speaking realm because it’s a mix of Rock and Fado and carries historic and cultural features only the Portuguese-speaking can sense. I think Portugal sends songs Ike this to celebrate it’s own culture and heritage. It’s a way to show the world what and who Portugal is. The blond girl look like a Man i can’t see her boobs.the first guy from the right is indescribable how ugly he is. Does he have eyes ? I only see a pair of glasses. And the boy in the middle, well I just take their hands off if I know him.

Personally I like it. Don’t know why being so negative having other acts worse In the rehearsal like FYROM, San Marino, Finland. Obviously I cantón ser the full rehearsal but at first sight I like it.
In this semifinal, acts like Norway, Montenegro, Czech Repúblic por Lithuania the stage presented arent much better than this…

Well the bat wearing a condom comment may be a little edgy, but definitely spot-on and very funny 🙂 After the best female outfit of the year (Norway) , this is the worst along with the Netherlands.
I think you are too hard with Leonor. I think that her song isn’t the worst. Her singing is flawless and she has a very unique voice. She is the only one singing in her own language in the semifinal and she should get credit for that.

Anyways…Im sorry Portugal, I was 80% sure of a non-qualification this year and now I am 100% sure. If they couldnt qualify last year with the stunning Suzy he her upbeat, iberian dance smash…then this song will just be a non-entity. Sorry Lisboa!
