Ahead of the Eurovision 2015 Opening Ceremony, wiwibloggs got up close and personal with the majority of this year’s acts. Among them was Monika Kuszynska, who managed to take Poland to the grand final for a second year running.
But even before the result Monika was feeling positive. “I think it looks and sounds very nice,” she said of her rehearsals. “Just like the song, the staging is romantic and it all suits together.” Because Poland advanced from the semis in 2014, Monika admitted that there was a bit of pressure to succeed in Vienna: “Of course there’s pressure, there’s always a pressure. But I’m just going to do my very best and enjoy the moment.”
Looking back we’re pleased to see she did!

@Mario, yeah we are so proud of Monika in our country. On Sunday she got award for ‘artist without borders’ at Polish the biggest music festival.
We’re happy that we have been in final for 2nd year a row. We are starting to be strong, we are writing new history 😀
@ Huh
Yeah nicely written…I agree..
Poland managed to qualify to the final & that is enough success itself..
Poland has to feel satisfied with the overall impression & feeling that Monika transmitted & received with her essential performance..
Let’s look how beautiful Monika looks on last sunday when she performed at the biggest polish music festival in Opole. She sang polish version of In the name of love – Obudz sie i zyj. Amazing! http://jastrzabpost.pl/galerie/festiwal-w-opolu-2015-sobotni-wieczor-pelen-gwiazd-duzo-zdjec_133794.html/attachment/fot-akpa-3474#post-133802
The song may be too underrated to many but at least it touched the hearts of those who relates to her and those who admire her and her journey. I still don’t see her participation as begging for votes just because she’s on a wheelchair. Way too insensitive to say things like that.
