In recent years Cornald Maas has co-hosted Eurovision in Concert with some fabulous Dutch starlets, including Esther Hart, Ruth Jacott and Sandra Reemer. But tonight the organisers of Eurovision in Concert have announced via their Twitter account that he’ll have an international co-star this year. The lucky lady is Iceland’s Eurovision 2010 representative Hera Björk!

Hera became a fan favourite back in Oslo with her EDM number “Je Ne Sais Quoi”. More recently she worked as a vocal coach and backing singer for this year’s Icelandic representative María Ólafs.
For those of you who don’t know (who are you?!) Cornald Maas is the Dutch Eurovision commentator and a popular TV personality in the Netherlands. He’s also got plenty to say about Eurovision 2016 contestant Douwe Bob — read our interview here.
Tickets for Eurovision in Concert cost €35 and will go on sale on Monday, January 4, 2016 at 12:00 CET.

OMG I would love to host such a concert like this sometime 🙂
DR, You’re correct on Hera being a backing singer for Yohanna in 2009 at Moscow. She was also a backing singer for Euroband in 2008 at Belgrade and most recently with María Ólafs in Vienna earlier this year.
@DR she did sing with Yohanna.
Didn’t she also sing for Yohanna in Moscow as well. I’m sure I saw her in the backing singers when I watched Eurovision 2009. Can someone please clarify this. I’ve been going mad about it.
