Fourteen male solo performers will take to the stage at the Globen Arena this week for the semi-finals of Eurovision 2016. We are lapping up all of the meat in this year’s sausage fest and you guys are too. We asked you to vote for the best solo male vocalist at Eurovision 2016. Over a period of two weeks, we received a massive 18,644 votes and can now reveal the wiener. Err, winner.
Coming out on top was the talented and handsome Jüri Pootsmann from Estonia. The “Play” hitmaker was the huge favourite in our poll, earning 3,363 votes. He had a stellar series of performances during the Eurovision pre-party tour. Will he also be able to nail it during the first semi final?
The silver medal goes to the incredible vocalist Michal Szpak from Poland. He’s been polarising Eurovision fans continent-wide with his dynamic voice and impressive vocal range. But he still received 2,061 votes, which puts him in second place.
Third place goes to DILF of the moment Amir from France. The “J’ai cherché” singer has been wowing audiences everywhere and has quickly emerged as a favourite with fans, with the bookies and in this poll! After 1,857 votes, the bronze medal goes to Amir!

Romania – Ovidiu Anton with “Moment Of Silence” (1,100 votes, 5.9%)- Israel – Hovi Star with “Made Of Stars” (914 votes, 4.9%)
- Sweden – Frans with “If I Were Sorry” (757 votes, 4.06%)
- San Marino – Serhat with “I Didn’t Know” (115 votes, 0.62%)

why is Hungary so underrated? Freddie is outstanding, he sings perfectly, his voice is so husky, and the song is great too! My favourite this year is Micha? Szpak, but since I cant vote for him, I’ll definitely be voting for Freddie

It’s obvious that the votes of many people are based on the song each artist performs and not on their vocal capabilities. Hovi Star, Freddie, Justs and Douwe Bob are much better performers than Amir.
