He wore Hawaiian shirts, she wore a sapphire-showered nude number and they both sang for Spain on the stage of the Eurovision Sing Contest. And while their performances may have been separated by eight years, Manel Navarro and Soraya are united by one thing: their beautiful blonde hair.
On Sunday the dynamic duo put their tantalising tresses front and centre in a series of candid photos snapped during a weekend wedding in the Spanish countryside.
Showing just how connected the Spanish music industry is, the stars partied hard with a number of other artists with connections to Eurovision.
As well as multi-talented Spanish entertainer Beatriz Luengo, Manel and Soraya also shared the evening with two former members of Auryn, the boyband that placed runner-up to Lucia Perez during Destino Eurovisión 2011.
Blas Cantó – who won the fifth season of Tu Cara Me Suena (Your Face Sounds Familiar) — and Carlos Marco failed to win the competition with Auryn, but they did go on to score three number one albums and a number one single with “Puppeteer” in 2014.
The group had come together for the wedding of Iñaki Rincón of Must Producciones and his partner Rubén.
Soraya also took the opportunity to score an adorable Instagram in the fairytale countryside surroundings with boyfriend Miguel Herrera.
SORAYA AUCTIONS PRIDE FEATHER CROWN FOR TRANS COMMUNITY
As well as attending the wedding, Soraya has been showing her support for the gay community in other ways.
Having served mohawk maven on stage at Worldpride Madrid, with a beautiful feather-crown cast in the colours of the LGBTQ flag, the star is now auctioning it, with proceeds going to the trans community.
The one-of-a-kind piece was designed by Madrid label VERBENA who specialise in crafting artisan crowns.
