It’s been a whirlwind few weeks for Eurovision winner Duncan Laurence. Since winning Eurovision he’s made several TV guest appearances, planned an already sold out tour in The Netherlands and drawn up plans for his European tour.
Now, amid all that bluster and excitement, he’s dropped some more tantalising news. On August 8th Duncan will be the supporting act for British singer-songwriter James Bay when his tour stops in Bonn, Germany.

Among other songs, you’ll know James from his UK No. 1 hit “Hold Back the River”. He’s toured with Hozier, slayed the Glastonbury Festival and once performed “Love Yourself” with Justin Bieber at the BRIT Awards. He’s a big deal.
Small Town Boy with a Sold Out Tour
Duncan’s guest appearance with James will only add more fire to his European tour, which kicks off in Paris’ Nouveau Casino on November 5. It then snakes through Zurich, Helsinki and Antwerp before hitting London on December 3. The full list of dates is below.
You’re going to want to buy your tickets asap. Due to popular demand he has had to upgrade shows and even add extra gigs. Duncan is coming and Europe can’t get enough.
Are you now going to rush to buy flights to Bonn, or have you got your seat to see Duncan closer to home? Which city do you want to see him perform in next? Let us know in the comments below.
The world revolves around US of A.

Not about Duncan, but it’s about contestants achieving success after Eurovision- Lucie Jones will be taking on the lead role of Jenna in the West End production of Waitress in July at the Adelphi theatre! It’ll be her biggest role to date, and proof that Eurovision didn’t damage her career! So happy for her- London Eurovision fans should definitely check out the musical.
Also, Duncan debuted a few songs at Pinkpop and they’re great
Yes true talent shines through. I saw her on an episode.of Midsummer Murders and she is a really good actress.
To be fair she had a stage career before Eurovision, but as you correctly pointed out it certainly did not harm it.
Yes- I think her other leading role before this was Elle in Legally Blonde, but she had key supporting roles in productions of RENT and The Wedding Singer, as well as a few TV acting gigs, so to see her in possibly the biggest project of her life after Kyiv is an illustration that she might’ve benefitted from Eurovision in the long run. This might motivate other singers to try Eurovision if they see that it helped Lucie with her career.

Omg!!!!
James Bay needs a hair cut, or a shampoo. Preferably both.
Don’t start like this! I have even longer hair than him and it is no problem anymore for boys in 2019! 😛
Should it not be James Bay supporting Duncan.
Yass Duncan! Regardless of how you feel about Arcade, can we all just celebrate that an ESC winner is actually benefitting a lot in terms of their career following their victory
I think a lot of winners enjoy success in their countries, like Netta, Alexander Rybak, Marija Serefovic, ABBA, Celine Dion, you name it. Duncan’s not the first to have benefitted from victory.
True, I think the recent winners and high ranked contestants have enjoyed successful domestic careers (I would add Helena Paparizou to the list you mentioned) but I think Duncan could possibly be successful beyond The Netherlands
mahmood’s album charted in the official albums chart of sweden, norway and other foreign countries and soldi is smashing, so i expect the 2019 winner to have an even bigger career 😮
As Ukrainian I can add to the list Ruslana and Jamala , they both became much popular after their winning, though Jamala already was pretty famous and successful artist in Ukraine, but now she is a real super star:)
I am in Bangkok right now and I heard Arcade being played in a shop here! This song appeals to global audience.
