He’s just sold out every Dutch date of his debut tour and still has tickets available for European shows later this year. But before he takes to that stage Duncan Laurence has been invited to another one.
The “Arcade” hitmaker is set to perform on the Belgian format of The Voice: The Voice van Vlaanderen. The Dutch never forget about their friendly neighbours!
Duncan revealed his upcoming performance in a phone interview with Belgian radio station Q music. He will perform on the Flemish format of the franchise.
The show will air on Belgian channel VTM at 20:40 Brussels time. This episode of The Voice is the grand final of season six of the show. You can listen to the full interview below. Duncan will also perform in Borgerhout (Antwerp) on November 30 at 19:00, in venue Trix. Tickets will soon be available on the website of the venue.
In the same interview Duncan revealed how fast things are going since his victory and it still needs to sink in. He has taken one day off since his Eurovision victory.
But from now on he will be on full speed again, he says. His tourlist filled up really fast in recent days. Countries he will perform in in the coming months include Germany, Austria, Denmark, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The plan is to conquer Europe, but he will stay true to himself, with his music and songwriting. As surprised as he is, by the success of ‘Arcade’ in the European hitlists, he enjoys that it just keeps on going for him.
Duncan isn’t the only star coming to The Voice Van Vlaanderen. The other interval act of the grand final is American popstar Ava Max, who we find really sweet, but also a bit psycho. Ava is currently touring and will perform in different cities in the United States as well as the United Kingdom (London).
