Victor Vernicos to have light and dark moments on stage
Konstantinos Rigos is the artistic director of Greece’s Eurovision 2023 performance. In a recent interview with ERT, he revealed a bit more about the staging plans for Liverpool. Rigos notes that Victor’s song has light and dark moments, thus he wants to bring this world of emotion to the Eurovision stage:
“It’s a very nice moment! I really like doing this part. I really like that he is a kid, so young, so fresh and that he is also the songwriter. It’s a difficult song because it has a lot of changes… but I believe that Victor will accomplish it in the best possible way! I want Victor to look fresh on stage!“

Loreen goes behind the scenes of her outfit creation
On TikTok, Swedish superstar Loreen shared some behind the scenes detail about how her costume for “Tattoo” was created. Designer Fadi el Khoury worked with Loreen to create a powerful outfit she could still move in to complete the choreography — and it was ready in a tight four day turnaround before she began rehearsals for the Melfest heat in Malmö. She said: “The first sketch was just amazing. When you’re in the right space with the right people, things just flow.”

Let 3 win the first episode of Iceland’s Alla leið
Iceland began airing their Eurovision preview show Alla leið over the weekend. The country’s Head of Delegation, Felix Bergsson, moderates the show, but it’s a separate four jurors who award points to each song. In the first episode, they looked at the songs performing in the first half of semi-final 1: Norway, Malta, Serbia, Latvia, Portugal, Ireland and Croatia. At the end of the show, it was Croatia’s Let 3 who emerged as the panel’s early favourite. (Jonathan)

La Zarra is amazing !!!
My La Zarra, my Mimicat, big love.
What do you mean new name? Rigos has previously directed the staging for “Watch my dance” and “Aphrodisiac”.
Well, much better than the worn out Dream Team that turned 2 perfect contemporary songs like Last Dance and Die Together into old fashioned clichés from 30 years ago. Good riddance!
Oh, Mimicat, you’re so sweet… <3
I’d like to contact the Icelandic head of delegation and inform him that his panel is actually insane for daring to rank Serbia below Ireland, what is wrong with you? You are absolutely not fit to represent the country of Bjork and Sigur Ros, this is unbelievable…
People do have different opinions and tastes you do realise?
Yes, but please don’t try justifying that horror choice, Serbia below Ireland is just indefensible, this goes way beyond differing opinions and taste, the contest is in real danger if people like this are deciding the results…
First they are not in the same semi so it really doesn’t matter and Secondly, it’s not like Iceland is the only country voting in eurovision. its ok if one country doesn’t like it its opinion
You may not like what I’m about to say…but some people prefer Ireland over Serbia. Let it go.
What’s unbelievable is your over dramatic reaction to someone or a group of people having a different opinion to you. Music is about having a connection and this Icelandic panel struggled to connect with the Serbian song and that’s fair enough.
here is no technical problem, sabotage, headset problem, microphone. zarra kills live. so the bad people who like to go after artists for free. you are disgusting . Amazing France.
My winner
Will be voting for Paloma and La Zarra.
Why vote for them? Everybody knows Sweden already has won. Les jeux sont faits, indeed.
