The wait is over! Spain’s Broadcaster – RTVE – has revealed today the 16 songs competing at Benidorm Fest 2025 in a special press release event live from Madrid. The event is now also fully available on YouTube:

Dive into this year’s lineup and see who might take the crown this year next:

Benidorm Fest 2025: the participants and their songs

Click on the song titles to listen to this year’s entries. The competing songs will be exclusively available on RTVE’s ‘RTVE Play‘ platform until Friday, December 20th. Starting at midnight on Friday, the songs will then be released across all digital platforms, as confirmed by the artists on social media.

Please note, most official music videos will be released in the coming weeks.

Benidorm Fest 2025

The show is less than two-months away until it kicks off. This year, RTVE saw an influx of nearly 1,000 song entries — a new high for Benidorm Fest

Back in November, César Vallejo, Benidorm Fest’s co-director, highlighted the impressive diversity of genres in this year’s lineup, noting the challenging selection process. “Many outstanding entries couldn’t make it through,” he shared. César also clarified that, unlike in past years when RTVE extended direct invitations to established artists, this time, every single submission—including those of the chosen participants for Benidorm Fest 2025—came in through the same song submission form.

RTVE has advanced today that the traditional orange carpet, which serves as Benidorm Fest’s inauguration event, will not take place this year following last October’s Spanish floods in the autonomous region of Valencian Community.

Additionally, as RTVE announced last summer, fans will have the opportunity to vote ‘free of charge’ via an app for this edition. However, the demoscopic jury vote, which was typically composed of a panel representing a sample of the Spanish population, will not be used this year. “It no longer makes sense to have a demoscopic vote now that we will implement a free app vote,” explained Ana María Bordas, Spain’s Head of Delegation. She also noted that for the Benidorm Fest 2025, the voting process will be divided equally between a jury and a televote, with the televote comprising 50% app votes and 50% SMS votes.

So… who should win Benidorm Fest 2025? Who did you like the most? Let us know in the comment section below!

Very poor quality, especially certain songs like “?artita de llorar” can easily get 0 from the public. I am certain that some spanish fans will think that’s a winner and will be shocked when they come 21st, as if this hasnt happened like 10 times in the past.

It is not poor quality. Just your opinion and taste. If we think It is a winner and then It ends Up last, It Will be our disappointment, thanks for your concern..

Just very poor selection unfortunately with some songs being horrendous. I am sorry Spain but this is zero points.

Our opinion doesn’t count. Our picks for 2024 and 2023 were Agoney and Jorge Gonzalez, more similar with the fan favorite Chanel. In the end, the Spaniards have picked bulerias and traditional entries, like Blanca Paloma or the atrocity Zorra. We all know how these two ended. They don’t care of ranking well in the final, so they won’t care of our opinion. I expect them to pick a bad song. No high hopes for Spain, as we also have for UK and Germany…

Agoney and Jorge would end up dead end last…

First time ever that I like several, specially La Casa but Hartita de Llorar too. I think they are not songs tailor made for Eurovision… But I think It is time we, Spaniards, quit thinking what Europe is going to like or not.

Well with Eaea you already did that, Blanca’s song wasn’t really for Europe but more for the Spanish audience and it didn’t pay at the end.

It’s still one of the best results for Spain in the past ten years though.

It did better than your songs in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2024.

And you got a top 10 with the juries – not easy.

Ok fair but you can’t be satisfied by a 17th place when a year before you got the top 3, but Blanca top 10 with the jury is something to point, you’re right.

Eaea was really good. The Code last year winner was not. We don’t have that many chances of winning (unless we send Chanels every year) so in the end: f***k Europe (with LOVE) and let’s choose something we like for the right reasons (not like Zorra last year).

Why you compare Eaea with The Code?
I didn’t say Eaea wasn’t good, it just didn’t click with the European audience.
I don’t agree Spain is a huge musical country and Chanel is not the only one who could do well for Spain, in 2023 and 2024 you had several options that could have done better than Blanca and Nebulossa imo.

I was not comparing the songs themselves but the results since you said “It didn’t pay at the end”.

Yes I agree. I was not comparing songs but quality/result. EaEa was musically much better than The Code.

Both were musically interesting, The Code because it mixes several genres such as Rap and Opera and was well executed, Eaea because of its mix between tradition and modernity but you have to admit that The Code is more mainstream than Eaea.
The Code imo is a worthy winner and Nemo deserved it.

Happy you like it ? I think it might be the best option because it is mainstream enough to be like but still has that extra spice to stand out and apprently be stuck in your head :)) + the chorus is easy to sing with even if you’re not Spanish

it is fantastic, stuck in my head immediately, just like nochentera from 2023. Would be an amazing party song for the big stage in Basel, honestly something a little bit more of again, just…fun?

Votes are free this year in Benfest I wonder if we could vote too outside of Spain… it would be cool.

Two important changes have just been announced: Viewers will now be able to vote for free on the RTVE Play app, and the demoscopic poll is going away.

I watched the songs presentation and Luca made me cry…
The songs that caught my attention are: I’m a Queen, VIP, La Pena, Loca por ti , Hartita de llorar, Te escribo en el cielo.
Nothing really immediate that screams Eurovision winner but there’s potential. Chanel wasn’t under the radar until the live shows, so I hope for Spain to have a Chanel effect during the semifinals again.
Now if you asked me to choose one song right now to go to Eurovision I would say VIP.

Unless we have an unknown star (like Chanel was), I guess the semifinal surprise (especially for non Spanish people) will be Melody. That’s why I have her 2nd in my top so far.

I just listened to the first 30 seconds of all of them. I am not very impressed so far, I have to say. BUT I like La Chispa, Melody and J. Kabello (in this order).
And I have a special mention to Sonia y Selena, I know out of Spain this won’t be considered, but the lyrics and the sound brings lots of 90s/2000s nostalgia. It is also their own story.
