Good luck to fantastic singer and person Yuval, BTW nice picture of this article’s writer with Netta. 🙂
Hopefully you’ll stop bombing wiwiblogg with your desparate self hatred. I mean you anti human are good at that! Feel the horror of lying under dead c@rps for hours while thinking you’re gonna get murd@red every second with killer pains in your leg as Yuval Raphael did, then talk instead of crossing your legs behind the keyboard. Hopefully you make some reality check with all bombing on Israel, so that you see how much Ir@n, Ir@q, G@za, Yem@n, Leban@n and former Syri@ regims (all your “humanitarian” friends) are good at bombing -“Bambie”. Keep your T@r@r support, pathetic… in the meantime… Read more »
Ugh graphic design is really atrocious. Nemo’s ESC outfit level of atrocious.

Let’s hope Malta doesn’t loose the chance to qualify for the final this time. Odds are on their side. Please Malta choose the right song!!!!!!
They’re in the second half this time, which could improve their odds. Of course, picking a song that’s actually really good and catchy could help them immensely.
Please Kantera !
I feel sorry for all the contestants in Semi Final 2 once a certain country peddles their propaganda and victimhood. You just know its gonna rub everyone the wrong way once again.
Feel sorry for all normal people who actually love this contest so come to read about it and about music, and instead need to read your desparate hatred and hypocricy for Israel with t@r@r support on every wiwwiblog-blog even when it’s not about Israel. Also felt sorry for Israel and the actual fans who had the 2024 contest destroyed by the clowns act and appearances of Ireland, Switzerland, Greece and Nerherlands, who apparently send bots to here. Your obssesed insecurity about Israel is a worse “Karen” diva even compared to Bumbie F uck. Get a life and learn some history… Read more »
Thank you speaking up! It’s ridiculous they’re still in.
Manifesting the semis will become even (15/15) but unfortunately EBU only cares about money 🙁
If they behave instead of bullying and booing, then there would be no issue.
It’s a shame they didn’t put Switzerland into the second Group. It would have been the perfect Western split! French, Spanish and Italian Latins v German, British and Swiss Germanics! The Battle of Teutoburg all over again!
Italy in the SF1 with San Marino and France and Germany in the SF2 with Luxembourg. Two microstates in the final sounds about right.
Luxembourg is a small country, NOT a microstate!
And again us austrians in the second semi final xD
That’s true, you do have a tendency to get sorted into the second semifinal. Here is the proof right here.
Country: #/# (Semi final 1 years)/(Semi final 2 years)
Austria: 5/8 (2012, 2013, 2016, 2018, 2022)/(2011, 2014, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, 2024, 2025)
This is actually part of a larger study that I try to publish on here, but for some reason it didn’t go through.
My precious San Marino is in the smaller semi, together with Italy. That made my day a little better.
That’s not an automatic guarantee. I did a study looking at every countries, 12 points, and not once has Italy ever given 12 points to San Marino.
the italian televoting is dominated by diasporas
san marino might get something, but definitely not a very high mark
I wish for San Marino to make the final, wish they send more power ballads in Italian as Italy often does, though I also liked San Marino rockish entries the last 2 years. Good luck this year.

The Font of this year’s contest is a joke?
The actual joke is that people like you make such a fuss about something sooo irrelevant!
You know what I just realized? We have the same Nordic groupings as 2015 but in opposite semi finals–2015 had Denmark and Finland in the first semi final, and the second semi final contained Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Ten years later, it’s flipped. Iceland, Norway, and Sweden are assigned to the first semi final and Denmark and Finland are nestled in Semi final 2.
Things look good for Måns if he wins in Sweden 😉
The ones talking about the lithuanian diaspora, ur rlly tiring. It seems that they have, 50 mill people living there. I dont see, poland, romania, or other populous balkan countries winning the televote with nearly 10 times the population of Lithuania. Next time check the real Lithuanian immigration in those countries. Ireland: Poland, nearly three times more poles in ireland, where are those points? Romania, nearly 10 thousand more romanians, where are those points? UK: Poland, Ireland, Germany, Italy, France and Australia. Excluding the last free which have nearly the same immigration as lithuania, the other ones have, two, three,… Read more »
Tiring but it’s facts
Ireland for example always give their 12 to Lithuania in the televote.
Facts are facts. It would be tiring if it wasn’t true but it is.
Look at Ireland’s, the UK’s and Norway’s televote scores. For the last 15 years Lithuania has almost always been there 1st or 2nd.
In recent years even Sweden and Denmark are giving Lithuania some diaspora points.
It’s not about how many immigrants live there, it’s about how active their diaspora is. There might be a bigger number of Polish, Romanian and Belarussian immigrants but they’re not voting so non-stop as Lithuanians.
It’s actually kind of remarkable.
come on Denmark you can do it (I dont think so tho …)
Not with what they have been serving us in their national finals for years. I’ll be very surprised if there is anything good enough to qualify. My expectations are quite low.
don’t worry. As a Dane I agree with you. I do like our song last year tho
I’m always hopeful for Denmark!
I mean it can’t better worse ig :(((
can’t be*
My bet is on Poland’s Justyna to open the first semi-final.
That would be awesome.
If she wins the national final. Don’t overlook the possibility of a surprise result.
Mere details!
I know anything can happen but I get the feeling she has it in the bag.
Have you learned nothing?
It’s only my gut feeling, so what’s your point?
Would be very interesting as she also opened ESC 1995.
I kinda want Justyna to open semi 1, start the whole contest in style, just like she did 30 years ago.
no thx….once was enough
I’m very surprised to see. A very small number of comments under here because usually this gets in in the hundreds. I actually posted my statistics come up but they haven’t showed up here.
I think overall the numbers have gone down. Maybe the unpleasantness of last year has driven people away. You need a thick skin to be a Eurovision diehard.
Ain’t that the truth!
The news was announced today, so there’s a story but you can’t really predict anything without the corresponding songs. Traditionally, the countries in Semi-final 1 have done better than those in Semi-final 2, but there isn’t a country on that list that hasn’t also flamed out in a spectacular fashion.
So, the question is completely premature even if it is expected.
I don’t blame them given how toxic the website was last year and with what felt like no moderation from obvious trolling.
SHALOM and ROAR! AM YISRAEL CHAI!
Israel is not welcome
No sweetie, you’re not welcome, keeping eating yourself up with your self hatred.
Amen

The song will be incredibly beautiful, for sure, but what the world has to hear now is “my song” accompanied by the two most beautiful and small voices.

Who picked this font?..
I know. It looks like someone made it on a desktop computer from 1997
The 1997 contest scoreboard was actually better
Word Perfect
Very hard to say which semi is stronger since we only have 3 songs, but I’m happy enough with the draw.
Ireland has good voting partners there with Australia, UK, France etc who usually vote for us.
Great draw for Lithuania.
I just to hope it doesn’t end up like a group of death, we always end up there. I’d love to go j in not ESC fully confident that we’d make it.
A lot of Semi 1’s places are probably already gone when you count Sweden, Ukraine, Norway, etc
I don’t really understand how Lithuania ended up in the same semi as UK, Ireland, the countries who always give them 12 in the televote. Especially as semis are televote only now.
What is the point if pots?
… the point OF pots
The same way sometimes Greece and Cyprus end up in the same semifinal. It’s always a crapshoot. Sometimes you’re successful breaking up blocks, and sometimes you end up with countries together.
I thought the pots were formed based on voting history, though
Tbf I feel pots are kind of pointless when it’s 100% televote anyway.
The same countries always get voting friends. Sweden and Lithuania to be exact.
But this is Eurovision.
I never wanted to see the jury go anyway
I am wantered when the f**k gonna finish the Greece and Cyprus comparation
is only two countries and hear we have blocks of Nordic and X Balcan countries that even they are 5….come one
Norway and Ukraine will probably also “help” Poland, though it sort of went wrong last year
And yes what an ugly colour scheme
Really worried for Ukraine. My favourite Eurovision country, 100% qualification. This year the NF is weak and now they performing in the 1st half…
I doubt that ukraine will be nq. They are still an esc institution alongside sweden and italy
People thought the same about russia, Azerbaijan, Romania, Greece, etc., yet they still missed the final eventually, even Sweden once didn’t make it (though that didn’t affect its status).
My point is, there’s always a chance for that to happen, though I hope it doesn’t happen to Ukraine, as I fear they could end up in a slump like those countries.
On the other hand, some of their entries have been overrated, especially 2018, which I don’t think deserved to make the final
Ukraine could send static and still qualify. The diaspora is too big.
Most of the diaspora doesn’t even mind Eurovision. Some feel unwelcome or alienated and others have other things to do
Yes we saw last year how diaspora doesn’t mind eurovision. 300+ points from a death slot. Granted it was a hell of a song but no other song came even close to that result from the death slot.
Trying to concentrate on the draw allocations- can’t get beyond the color scheme clash-
I know this is off topic and we already knew the graphics, but being together like this with that terrible font.. looks awful
If Poland will go with Gaja and Justyna will open first semi it will be nice things since she was the 1st performer on the night 30 years ago for Poland as well:) History likes to repeat itself.. fun fact:)
Whoever did the graphic designs should spend some time in jail.
<3 <3 <3 Israel <3 <3 <3 *love will never d ie*. We *will* dance again <3 <3 <3
Hay que ser cínico para hablar d amor , después de multiplicar por 20 el bombardeo de Hirosima
Now that the semi finals have been allocated, can we not speculate the perceived strength or weakness until all or most of the songs are out? A semi that can look strong on paper may turn out weaker than expected and vice versa. Now if you excuse me, I have some statistics to do. Stay tuned.
We saw that last year as well. On paper semi 1 was Stronger, but semi 2 turned out to be just as strong, or even stronger…
Yes, that’s why I think it’s useless to speculate now.
Why is Wiwibloggs censoring comments with the word Alb4ni4? (I mispelled it on purpose). Don’t they want it to win? I thought it was an impartial site.
I noticed that too. Like why Albanai out of all countries? Hate that I have to deliberately misspell the word.
Bye bye Poland ???
It’s a basic math, the semi with more countries will always be harder to qualify from, so that means the second semi will pose harder path to the final. The first semi looks like it’s full of overhyped countries, so the stronger songs will probably be in the second semi
On paper the first semi would indeed look stronger, and I guess we know where the Belgian 12 points are goin, very likely at least.
You better have a killer song to get out of semi one. About half of the slots seem to be already taken.
On just a first glance the first semifinal look like the stronger more competetive one. Much more harder to qualify from there
bro only 3 songs have been released this is absurd
Based on history and selection shows I say it is the stronger
Believe we already know who qualifies in the first semi.
I can honestly see Azerbaijan, San Marino, Norway and Slovenia as 100% NQ already.
Makes no sense to claim so!
If Nataleen goes for Norway, she will be top10 televote in the final, so don’t say that.
First semi is looking stronger and has the usual powerhouses like Sweden and Ukraine, with Belgium, Estonia and Cyprus looking like they could be strong this year too.
Semi final 2 looks like it could be more competitive. Good opportunity for smaller countries like Malta & Ireland to qualify
NL not powerhouse anymore?
NL has never been a powerhouse
In 1969, 1975 and 2019
In the past 12 or 13 years they have a near perfect qualification record. Basically won their semi final last year (only lost to Israel). In terms of chances to qualify, that would make them a powerhouse.
runner-up in 2014 winner in 2019 and likely a stolen top 5 last year, maybe not a powerhouse because of two misses, but nothing to be ashamed of…
Based purely on the countries track records, the first semi-final looks like the tougher one. However, based on the national final songs we have so far, the semi’s seem pretty balanced.
First semi final looks like it’s the strongest by far with a number of the favourites Sweden, Ukraine and Belgium in there. Semi final 2 very open for some of the places in the grand final.
Weird how these odds work, now suddenly Belgium are apparently a favourite even though nobody really understands why.
Overhyped fans putting money on a screaming rave party – a song that wont get any points by juries in Eurovision. It is the only reason…not one person in the Belgium NF is capable of keeping clean vocals – all breathy. DoA when it comes to juries.
So it’s not the lady from Lasgo?
Have u not seen mentissa
I Saw her, and i heard her. I like the song and hope she wins – but it is NOT a Eurovision winner. Way to weak vocals for that.
I saw her papapa performance last Saturday, she missed a couple of notes, I do like her Ballade Et Bam.
