Tonight we will find the last four finalists in Melodifestivalen heat 5 plus Final Qualification in Husqvarna Garden in Jönköping, and according to our poll you readers are favouring the ladies this week.
Winning the poll was former top model Victoria Silvstedt with almost 35% of the total votes, followed closely by SCARLET at around 30%. If you were to decide you would put Melfest veterans Arvingarna through to the Final Qualification, taking place right after tonight’s heat.

People like to hate on Sweden, but no one can deny that the Melodifestivalen finale has a VERY strong line-up this year. It might be 90% pop songs but they’re mostly quality that could definitely work at ESC, Sweden does what Sweden does best. They have at least 5 songs that could easily make top 10. From Klara to Greczula, from Måns to Jon Lundvik… and then KAJ who could finally bring something different to the table for Sweden. Things are looking vey good for the Swedes. Well done! My heart goes out to Arwin tonight. I really hope Arwin owns the song and enjoys the experience of Melfest. So much is always changing and happening when you’re that young, and I remember what that was like.
I’m surprised that Scarlet aren’t the favourites here. Victoria with a V. Who is… Wait a minute, not the model, actress & tv star Victoria Silvstedt? Wow, I totally missed that announcement before. Okay, I get the hype now.
Plus there’s Arvignana, who should have won ESC in 1993, in my opinion.
Vilhelm is a dark horse for tonight. I think we could see a surprise qualifier in his “im yours”. Could be a kind of “frank-moment”. I hope!
Vilhelm Buchaus has by far the best song – but the fans want the show, the cheap and the zany so of course it is last in this poll….
