Which of these new songs is your favourite? Have we missed out on any? Do you have any artists you want to shout out to? Let us know in the comments.
Keren Peles, one of the “Hurricane” songwriters, has a song together with children affected that fateful day. It’s called “Outside my home”.
This song is so beautiful, it hurts. And the knocking sounds in the backtrack appear to be like raindrops or something but maybe it’s the sound of b ullets being fired, there’s a bit towards the end of the mv where they show footage of some of the m onsters doing m onstrous deeds that day so maybe it’s sounds from that fateful day that linger in the memories of survivors. Or maybe it’s raindrops because the lyrics talk about a storm.
And it sounds like a waltz and you can walz by yourself and just enjoy and be happy or dreamy or selfsooth or you can dance with somebody you love and when the loved one is gone gone or just gone the pain can be so overwhelming.
Anyway the elegance of this song is outstanding. There’s a just-Hebrew version too. And then the mv is mostly black and white and then the last part is colour.
