Eurovision national finals are a tough game. Only one act can win each country’s selection, often leaving many great songs behind. But some of these fallen favourites are given a new chance at victory each year in the OGAE Second Chance Contest.

With the acts for this year’s contest now chosen, OGAE fan clubs around Europe (and the rest of the world) are submitting their votes to decide the top favourite of the national final acts who didn’t win the ticket to Eurovision.

But before the official result is revealed, we want to hear from you. Check out the competing entries for the 2025 contest and then let us know who you think should win.

OGAE Second Chance Contest 2025

This year OGAE Italy is hosting the competition. That’s after Annalisa won last year’s contest with her song “Sinceramente,” marking Italy’s fourth win. OGAE Luxembourg is participating in the contest for the very first time.

OGAE clubs whose broadcaster selected their Eurovision entry using a national final were eligible to nominate one non-winning song as their entry for the Second Chance Contest. OGAE Rest of the World, comprised of fans from country’s who don’t have individual OGAE clubs, selected their entry from the Sammarinese selection.

‘Growth’ is one of the songs of my year, that could have been an easy qualifier for Ireland with effective staging

Still got Lusterka and Sirens on repeat, my two favorites from the season alongside POWERPLAY which lowkey was a better option for Second Chance than Growth. Overall though, looking at this selection, ESC 2025 had potential to be an outstanding year, the national selection results were atrocious

I think it will be between Spain, Poland and Finland.

Sweden will be in the Top 5.
