For months, bookies and fans alike have described Eurovision as a battle between two teen queens: Germany’s 18-year old Lena-Meyer Landrut, and Azerbaijan’s 17-year old Safura Alizade. And while Safura appears to have won over most of the London-based betting agencies, she’s keenly aware that Lena remains a threat. After all, Lena is currently the front-runner according to Google’s online prediction tool. “[Satellite] is very light and falls into your ear very easily,” she told her official web site safura.eurovisiontalents.com recently while on tour in Germany. “I’m looking forward to get acquainted to Lena in person in Oslo.” Is that girl talk for “I’m gonna cut out her vocal chords”?
It’s unclear how Lena feels about Safura. But if you watch this clip, you might think the German star hates her. When asked who her biggest threat in Oslo is, Lena names Safura and appears to compare her to a flesh-eating beast.

I like both of them… Safura and Lena. 🙂 I don’t think either of these two are better than each other. To me, they both look like sweet, kind people. Also, Eurovision competitors are I think nice to each other… not like the competitors in Britian’s Next Top Model and / or America’s Next Top Model, after all. Lena sounds funny in the video 🙂 … but, I’m not sure if she actually dislikes Safura. I just hope she doesn’t… I like both Safura Alizadeh and Lena Meyer – Landrut !! 🙂 🙂

Lena is a comedian and a great talent for us Germans! Both Lena and Safura will do well but they are very very young and don’t have their full talent developed yet.
