If at first you don’t succeed, try again—in Switzerland. That appears to be the mantra of Poland’s Magdalena Tul, who has bounced back from her last-place finish at Eurovision 2011. Switzerland’s Eurovision broadcaster SF has revealed that the Polish singer will compete to represent the country in Malmo with the song “Give It Up.”

The title of the song makes it sound like Magdalena has fallen into drugs and alcohol, and is turning to Eurovision as part of her rehab. Wiwi doesn’t think “Give It Up” is as hot as Magda’s 2011 entry “Jestem.” But we all know how that turned out, so perhaps my judgment is totally off. In her new entry, Magda says, “People are all the same, waiting for a brand new day.”

Well her day is here. And she’ll be squaring off against the 110-year old Lys Assia, whose rap song with New Jack is also available for listen by clicking here. It’s gonna be hot in Switzerland this December, and not just because of the music. As you’ll recall, Magdalena Tul won the 2011 search for Eurovision’s Next Top Model!
