The Serbian tabloid Blic has published a report that suggests Milan Stankovic’s newly released single “Od mene se odvikavaj” is “very reminiscent” of “Wili Wili” by Arab singer Cheb Khaled. The opening riffs are certainly similar…but is a similar musical style enough to level full-on allegations of plagiarism? Probably not. Another tabloid absolved Milan of any guilt and blamed his producers for the similarities. “We’re still not sure Milan knows this,” wrote svet.rs.
