Conchita Wurst, the Queen of Europe, is totally excited and she can’t hide it! The bearded beauty posted an emotional video after yesterday’s host city announcement on her official Facebook page. Conchita promises that next year’s contest will be glamorous and fabulous, and she really hopes y’all will join the party in Vienna.

Immediately after her winner’s press conference in Copenhagen, rumours swirled that she would host Eurovision 2015. Yesterday, during ORF’s press conference, officials said that the hosts will be a “big, positive surprise”. Could this be the reason why Conchita is so excited?

@Ranting Ruby: No, Russia would still go. Some idiots in the country would say bigoted things, but they don’t really have control over whether Russia enters. They’ve already confirmed their participation, knowing full well that Conchita will most likely appear.
Natalia Kelly is a wonderful singer and I loved her performance, but it didn’t excite the televoters, unfortunately.
My prediction: Conchita hosts! (Hurray!)
And … Russia suddenly decides they don’t want to play any more. Odds, anyone?

Whats your fascination with Natalia Kelly?
I thought she was quite bland and her song was boring and not very memorable, yet she is all you talk about?
Would love Conchita to do it, but as long as it’s not Schwarzenneger (who is one of the most unpleasant people on the planet), I’d be happy with whoever. And yes, love Andi Knoll and Kati Bellowitsch – they would be awesome.
I just hope for the following to happen in Vienna: 1. Natalia Kelly (Austria 2013) to be in da house!…either to represent Austria, or to the one of the hosts for the 2015 contest. I’m totally expecting Natalia to represent Austria on home soil. Seriously, Natalia’s an amazing singer. 2. Sergej Cetkovic (Montenegro 2014) to represent Montenegro AGAIN! Trust me, Sergej’s an amazing singer! If this happens, then it could lead to Podgorica 2016!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! 3. I wouldn’t mind if Conchita hosted Vienna 2015, but I would prefer if she presented the green room on the night night of the final or gave out the results of the Austrian televote from Stephansplatz or something.
