Danica Krstic and Bojana Stamenov are the first two acts who will sing at Beovizija 2015

Danica Krstic beat out competition from Goga Stanic and 8 other acts to win the wildcard slot singing at Beovizija 2015. If she wins she’ll be singing for Serbia at Eurovision 2015 in Vienna – the first Serbian act to appear after a year long hiatus.

Danica definitely owned the wildcard round:

Bojana Stamenov has been named by ‘Molitva’ composer Vladimir Graic as the first of two experienced performers who will sing at Beovizija 2015. Bojana rose to fame after making it to the Grand Final of Serbia’s Got Talent in 2012.

Bojana showed off serious soul at Serbia’s Got Talent:

A tough one to call! They will both sing the two songs Graic composed for female singers for the national final.

The date of the three-person national final has been set for 14th February 2015. Danica and Bojana will be joined in the national final by a male vocalist who will sing a final composition composed by Graic.

Graic however, seems pessimistic about the chances of a male act commenting, “for many years now we have a problem finding a good male vocalist in Serbia.” So long as there’s another Zeljko Joksimovic somewhere in Serbia, Team Wiwi are confident it won’t be a walk in the park for the two Serbian sirens.

Do you think either of these ladies have what it takes to bring the ESC back to Serbia? Comment below!

They’ve both got charisma, but I doubt The Banery would be much better and win Beovizija 2015.

“I hope that Serbia didn t make same mistake as 2013 when they send Moje 3.” I think Moje 3 would have placed better if they didn’t have such super weird and distracting outfits, and choreography that was distracting as well – they should have kept dancing and movements that went with the rhythm and music versus acting out every little line with each other – it made for jerking, obnoxious movements. As for good male vocalists – I’ve spotted several competing in the talent shows. Currently in Pinkove Zvezde, one of my favorites is Aleksa Kostic. He has the… Read more »

If in national final we have Danijel Pavlovic, he will win with suports of his sister Marija Serifovic, and national final producer is same man who was producer of Marija Serfivovic when she won Eurovision 2007, and we have only vote with sms not juries. I hope that Serbia didn t make same mistake as 2013 when they send Moje 3.

Well, I don’t care how many acts there are in the Serbian final, as long as you send BOJANA with a soulfull and powerfull song, you can’t go wrong! She’s an amazing performer and singer! Go Serbia! From Sweden with love! 😉

Goga pulled out since he was to sing with a band at the national final but he didn’t reach an agreement with them. So we have 3 artists again

Yes. There will be four artists at the final instead of three, whitch was originally planed. Not three. And now there are Danica Krstic, Goga Stanic and just selected Bojana Stamenow.

Danica didn’t beat Goga in the wildcard round. Graic decided to choose two unknown artists instead of one and they both advanced to the final.
