Sofi Marinova sang “Love Unlimited” back in Baku, but failed to get much of our love. In her newest single “Po tebe poludjah” (In You, I Go Crazy) she’s gotten rid of the disco tune and her bubblegum pink coloring, and has replaced it with an overdose of Balkan instrumentation. There’s also a beefcake posing for us in her music video. Now this gets our unlimited love!

This song screams “pan-Balkan anthem”. With ethnic instruments and traditional vocals, Sofi shows the exact opposite of an identity crisis. Of course, she did keep the best part of “Love Unlimited” in her song – the infectious club beat! We love a girl who knows who she is and what she is doing! Although we will truly miss Bulgaria in the contest, this gives us a degree of comfort.
