Iceland is the little island that can. Whenever the bookies count them out of Eurovision, they respond by advancing direct to the final. They’re keen to keep the magic going, but who do you think has what it takes to do that? You can listen to the twelve songs competing in Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins 2015 below. We’ve got a 16-year-old schoolgirl, a veteran 8o’s rocker, a full-fledged Eurovision diva, indie rockers and some Icelandic/Swedish funk fusion. How to choose, how to choose…
You can vote for as many acts as you would like, but you can only vote ONE time. Let us know who your favourite is now!

Fjadrir! This song is unique and amazing! Please choose it!
I would rather the up tempo Maria win over Sunday and Stefania so many ballads become boring/
Friðrik Dór with Í síðasta skipti or Sunday with Fjaðrir. Even though I don’t understand any single word I can feel those songs,I feel their quality. I love every note from the beginning till the very end,not only chorus. Pretty interesting songs.
I hope Island won’t end up on my disappointments list as Albania and Netherlands did.
Steganía Svarsvarsdottír is basically their ‘Is it true?’ This year. I think it would do very well with good staging, amazing vocals and the way it builda
I notice that Iceland tends to vote for acts considered to be ‘underdogs’ by outside observers, so if this is the case, I wouldn’t be surprised if they choose ‘Boys and Girls’ or Hinemoa.
For me TOP 5
1.Stefanía Svavarsdóttir with “Augnablik”
2.Björn og félagar with “Piltur og stúlka”
3.SUNDAY with “Fjaðrir”
4.Friðrik Dór with “Í síðasta skipti
5.Erna Hrönn Ólafsdóttir with “Myrkrið hljótt”
I think Fjadrir is the only one that could get them a top 5 result. I don’t understand what people see in Maria’s song.
Sunday – Fjadrir ,it would be the perfect song to represent Iceland ,it would be my favorite so far ,beautiful unique song!
greetings from Portugal
My vote goes for Brotið Gler (which apparently is not favored by most people, and I know it’s probably not going to qualify from the semis)
but I really want to see Fjaðrir win.
beautiful song.
Maria is by far my favourite! I also enjoy Fridrik Dor a lot, but I think Maria would be Iceland’s best choice.
Totally passionate for María’s and Regina’s songs … I cross my fingers for any of these 2 songs. I just would love to see Eurovision being won by Iceland specially with a tremendously remarkable song and for me personally these 2 possess such qualities.
There’s so many good songs but my favourites are the ones by Elín and María. The only one I don’t like is Erna’s. 1- María Ólafsdóttir with “Lítil skref” – 10 2- Elín Sif Halldórsdóttir with “Í kvöld” – 10/10 3- CADEM with “Fyrir alla” – 9/10 4- Friðrik Dór with “Í síðasta skipti” – 9/10 5- SUNDAY with “Fjaðrir” – 9/10 6- Haukur Heiðar Hauksson with “Milljón augnablik” – 9/10 7- Regína Ósk with “Aldrei of seint” – 7/10 8- HINEMOA with “Þú leitar líka að mér” – 7/10 9- Björn og félagar with “Piltur og stúlka” – 7/10… Read more »
Sunday – Fjadrir is a great song, I hope Iceland will choose it.
Regina or María for me.
The only songs I hate are by CADEM and Erna. Anything but these.
Would love to see Fjadrir win! It’s such a unique song and I think it would do very well at Eurovision for Iceland!
