On March 29 we asked our readers to vote for the acts they feel are most deserving to win Eurovision 2015. As of April 11 at 15:00 GMT, we had collected a total of 55,739 votes. At the moment seven acts have managed to crack 1,500 votes. Leading the way is Albania’s Elhaida Dani, the winner of The Voice of Italy. She’s earned an impressive 10,564 votes, or around one in every five, for her song “I’m Alive”. Her recent acoustic performance was on point, and she’s proven to be very charismatic in interviews. Elhaida: You are alive and our readers are loving you!

Georgia’s Nina Sublatti, who silenced many of her critics with an amazing live performance in Riga on April 10, sits in second place. Her revamped “Warrior” has won a lot of people over and she increasingly looks like a threat, having earned 5,226 votes, or more than 9%. Have you submitted a design for her tattoo contest?

Italy’s Il Volo, who have been slaying in our search for Eurovision’s Next Top Male Model, are third with 3,120 votes, or 5.6%. That puts them ahead of Spain’s Edurne, whose first live performance of “Amanecer” drew mixed reactions, and Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw, whose song “Heroes” recently broke 10 million streams on Spotify.

Ireland’s Molly Sterling and Estonia’s Elina & Stig are the only other acts to earn more than 1,500 votes.

At the other end of the spectrum we have Austria, Montenegro, Denmark, San Marino, Cyprus, Finland and Moldova. These acts all have fewer than 700 votes each.

You can see the current standings below. This poll will remain open until May 22 — the day before this year’s Eurovision 2015 final. You can vote here if you haven’t already done so.

Guys, really I cant’ understand you! You have problem in your mind really… What are you telling that this poll is hacked? The song of Elhaida is really amazing in my opinion and you can see at youtube that the song has 2,052,811 views which is second by views first is Russia’s with 3,071,735 at this moment! Tell me now that Albanian’s hacked youtube too. Oh really stop this! It’s very ridiculous! Elhaida 12 points from Wellington, New Zealand!

@albania: If you had read my comment properly, you would’ve seen that I said Sweden’s song is also not very original and plasticky. The staging is what makes the otherwise-ordinary song a potential winner. Heroes doesn’t appeal to me when I listen to the audio, but you can’t deny the staging grabs your attention. Also, while I don’t like how mainstream the song is, it does mean that it’ll get quite a lot of votes 😛 I have no doubt Elhaida’s performance will be great, but the song isn’t unique enough to win. It’s a great song that I like,… Read more »

You said Albania will win for sure and I said winning is not guaranteed you can’t say who is going to win because millions of people vote and not every body vote same, we haven’t even seen performances how can you say Albania win for sure! As for my taste I like Albania song first time I heard the song I think it’s going to do well but I can’t say it’s going to win for sure, you would make silly comments like that

@Racal….What’s so difficult not to understand???? Yeah Albania is winner material only a deaf wouldn’t appreciate it. The song stands out like no other!!
And yes Italy’s popopera is 35 years old…these were songs my parents grew up with Albano, Bocelli ect. Sweden’s song is like I have listened it 200 times before from them!! NOT refreshing!! If Albania would have presented with Sweden’s entry nobody would have even notice it…let’s be honest!!
And Estonia has such a boring rhythm, the voices are both lame. It’s good for a good sleep! That’s not a winner song… period 😉

I’m albanian from Macedonia and i voted for Albania. 1.ALBANIA- WINNER- the best song, the best singer- Elhaida won Star Academy, Top Fest (festival) and Festivali i Këngës in Albania, won a festival in Montengro, won the Voice of Italy and believe it or not she’s going to win Eurovision too. Isnt about the poll, isnt about albanians, all is matter the song. 2.Georgia- great singer-the song is repititive, so that for me means boring. Have listened her yesterday, she can sing and i dont deny it but the song for me is boring, for me out of Top 10.… Read more »

Wiwibloggs have to make poll for registred users so we all would register and then vote. Also it would be good if we could only vote for other countries and not for our own, BUT our location should be detected by IP adress not manually, so the poll would be more correct. We can see that countries who have more Eurovision fans are at the top or TOP20. I’m sure UK, Ireland, Germany, The Netherlands and even Scandinavian states, Italy and Spain has a lot votes from themselves. What I know – few countries like Poland, Czech Republic and Latvia… Read more »

Bookmakers sometime made big mistake. In 2001 favorites to won was France (4 th place) than Slovenia (7 th place ) and Greece (3 rd place). In 2002 favorites to won was Germany (only 21 th place in final with 24 countries), second favorite was Sweden (8 th place ) , Spain (7 th place in final). Latvia was not in TOP 10 on betting odds ( 1 st place ) like Malta ( 2nd place) In 2003 favorites for won was Russia (3 rd place) , nobody gave any chance for Turkey (1 st place ) or Belgium (2… Read more »

I managed to get my bet on Albania whilst they were 80/1. I still do not think it will win but it is a top 3 song and 80/1 is too long. Albania’s odds did not change after they changed their song so I think the bookmakers were just slow to react.
Having said that, I still think Mans is going to win.

It’s actually really funny that in 2013 and 2014, Albanians couldn’t give two shits about the contest – they couldn’t even reach the televote threshold. This year, they’re going batshit crazy and it’s really annoying. Don’t get me wrong, I love Albanians and the Albanian song, but when you want to jump on the bandwagon only to jump off again next year (a la Rona 2012), it annoys me. About the poll results, yes I do think Albania has a winning song but this poll is clearly inaccurate. The proportion of votes are just inaccurate, and I don’t get how… Read more »

@ Lia ur saying Albania song is a mainstream,i mean Sweden ever since been participating in Eurovision have been the same winning mainstream abba shitty thing but modern and their songs are usually in english, and Albanian song aint strong well if Elhaida’s performance like you said will be strong then that should be enough then to get points isnt it,well is just your opinion and are not facts BTW how many languages you speak bcs english dont count?thought so.

These polls will never be accurate because people can vote for their own countries. We have no idea how many of Albania or Georgia’s votes came from their respective countries, I remember last year Ireland was leading the poll in the final days before the contest and they didn’t even qualify, while Conchita, who was hovering around tenth, won the whole thing. As always, these polls are just for fun and shouldn’t be taken seriously 😛 My Top 5 right now are Italy, Norway, Sweden, Azerbaijan and Spain, in that order. Italy is by far my favourite, incredible song and… Read more »

for me as long the Scandinavian countries bcs they cheat ever since ESC started never been a fan of them and they are the reason that one day the rest of Europe will pull out of this joke ,Austria bcs just won it,and Russia bcs of so many political issues dont win it,i would be very happy for the rest which im sure are so many to win and to those whom i want to win,i personally wish the best of luck,it’s time for a change&new,Europe stand up and be loud.

From one of this country will come the winning song: – ITALY – jury favorite, a little audience favorite because their fans do not watch ESC, I think. – ESTONIA – balcan audience popular favorite for the whole Europe – SLOVENIA – fresh song and favorite at all – AUSTRALIA – It’s a good song but for political reasons – SPAIN – jury favorite and political reasons – SWEDEN – just audience favorite – NORWAY – jury, a litlle audience favorite and political reasons – BELGIUM – THE strongest dark horse of the house. I think that Italy will win.… Read more »

You should see the performance of Edurne singing Amanecer some minutes ago. She has done it great! It’s true that the programme where she has sung has a very bad quality of the sound but this didn’t affect her vocal skills. Growing in my Top.
(I guess that wiwibloggs will post the video when it’ll be available)

I think the correct question is as follows, and is very simple: what’s your favorite song? Just this.

Answer: I haven’t decided between Portugal (I love the last version, I have read somewhere that Leonor will sing in English in Vienna), Spain (depends on the performance on stage) and my own country, Austria. As for Austria, I think this year deserves victory again, but won’t get it because it was the winner in 2014.
