Sixteen-year-old Nadav Guedj was the youngest performer at Eurovision In Concert but he entertained the crowd like a pro with his performance of “Golden Boy”. Nadav brought some Tel Aviv heat to Amsterdam and had the eager audience singing and dancing along.
The Israeli golden boy unleashed his slick dance moves and impressed the audience with his smooth R&B vocals. As we’ve seen from a rehearsal video, Nadav will be joined by three dancers and two backing vocalists in Vienna, but his performance in Amsterdam shows that he’s able to own the stage by himself.
Nadav is really good performer for his age. In the year of ballads this is a true highlight. He deserves to qualify, at least.
He’s only 16?! Wow! He seems to mature – both as a person and as an artist. My favorite this year:-) Greetings from Serbia!
Hey! Check out the piano version of the portuguese entry “Há um mar que nos separa” sung by Leonor Andrade e Miguel Gameiro (author of the song) last night in Got Talent Portugal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbz1Jz-m-jo 🙂
He interacts well with the audience and displays a lot of energy. It’s hard to believe he is only sixteen – he looks like he is in his twenties.
This boy rocks! He knows how to work a crowd. Nice singing, nice moves, nice song. He will qualify to the final with no doubt, i also want him to get a place in the top 10.
Freyah…
“Mama, someone broke my heart AGAIN, now I’m gonna ease my PAIN
“Hold me TIGHT, we’re not going home TONIGHT
“Pull me baby, I’m your TRIGGER, you know that my love is BIGGER”
“Let the rhythm take us HIGHER, you know when I’m on FIRE”
Golden Boy, Enjoy – Leave, Tel Aviv …
Just saying.
HE’S SIXTEEN?!?! I didn’t even know that, he’s so talented for his age. Such confidence. I think when you compare the audience reaction here, to Electro Velvet’s, you can honestly see how fucked the UK are. Never mind. Nadav deserves to do well, and I think he’ll qualify for sure.
Thing is, never judge a song by how much the audience dances…look at Freaky Fortune and RIskykidd…
I want Nadav with Tel Aviv..Emm i mean Israel to qualify to the final.. 🙂
His song deserves to pass & give the present to the big grand final..
Hopefully Nadav will manage to deliver a really good enough performance that will win both the juries & televoters..
I have Israel’s song ranked 6th 4 the 2nd semifinal & in my top15-20 overall..
Someone buy the man a rhyming dictionary, he has used zero in his song.
Oh please show me Tel Aviv!!!!! So cute he is!!!!!
europa that’s funny but trust me, he looks a lot more mature than Israeli high school kids his age 😉
I believe in top10 for israel..good track
i still refuse to believe he’s 16. I don’t doubt that Israel could be a rough life though.
I love how Israel keeps it modern, especially following the 2014 entry (the greatest eurocrime to this day)
This is so booooring. i have herd it before. puhhh.
He did really well. He sang the song well and a lot of performance coming from someone so young. Definite highlight
Very cool. I hope he makes the finals, it is an awesome song.
His vocals were a bit weak. Even though the sound quality in these is never going to be perfect, he clearly wavered in certain parts of the song.
He´s good entertainer, but not that good singer.
Thank you, wiwibloggs, thanks Robyn, for uploading this! Amazing as always, I really like Nadav. I hope Israel wins! Great vocals, fantastic performance, catchy song, great dancing. And the crowd seemed to enjoy this.
I am so happy with this performance, it’s just what I was hoping from Nadav. Fun, entertaining, great body language yet without compromising on the vocals. This is a great live performance regardless of his young age. It will be a SHAME if Israel again doesn’t qualify but now I’m rather optimistic.
