Polina Gagarina brought Russia its highest score ever at the Eurovision Song Contest with her powerful ballad “A Million Voices”. That’s one reason she is nominated for four Vision Music Awards. Well now Polina is spreading her message of love not only around Europe, but also deeper into Russia with the Russian-language verison of the song. The words have changed, Polina says, but the language is still the same: the language of love.
The re-cast lyrics go like this: People again and again are seeking love on the planet. There are millions of us! Far away from coasts they believe that they’ll find love. There are millions of us!
The refrain “sing it out!” has become “not alone!”.

I always look forward to native-language versions, but I’m just not feeling this. Maybe it’s because I can’t understand but I just think the English version sounds more powerful. (I thought the Greek version of “One Last Breath” was amazing though!)

I think this song is better in English: although, that being said, there have been entries that sound better in Russian (their entry from 2014 has become one of my favourites because of the Russian language version of it). I think Polina sold it in English live, but would she have sold it with the Russian language version as much as the English language version? To me, it’s not a question of which is more accessible, but which language gets to performer to perform the song better. Really pity that Polina was voted by all except 2 countries.. Her perforance was WOW! <3 Lithuania's & San Marino's juries put her on purpose(of course) on 20th & 18th place respectively so 4 Polina to end up receiving non points at all by them two.. I didn’t expect Polina to do really THIS GreAtY before the live shows/rehearsals.. 303 points – 2nd place ALMOST Winner! You would think that this amount of points not only would be enough 4 the victory but for a big margin & landsized winning..! Il Volo also gathered really big amount of points with their 3rd place!
